Cord works like it suppose to!

These XO 1m Ultra High Resolution Professional Digital Optical TOSlink Cables are well made and function great in my AV system.

Connectors fit snugly and work just fine. I got this because I wanted a short white cable to connect my TV to the soundbar. It worked just fine for that purpose. I chose white because I wanted the cable to be less noticeable — I didn’t want a black cable against my white wall. What didn’t realize when ordering was just how think the cable is — the cable looks a bit like a water hose. I wish the cable was thin like others so that it’s less noticeable against the my wall. My picture shows a tape measure in inches. The cable has a braided cover/wrap and the connector is gold colored — both of these features are design overkill in my opinion.

I'm not an AV expert so it's hard for me to know if this item deserves 5 stars or not. The cord construction on this thing is massive and somewhat stiff. It will naturally resist any close quartered tight turns and I'm sure is best suited for direct, straight-on plug-ins. The cord is colored white and in a sea of black cords. A magic marker will fix that. Does it transmit well? Yes, as far as I can tell

Felt cheap out of the box and was carful not to over bend the cable on install, yet the first time it was used the sound quality was absurdly poor.
