Keeps your arm in socket
Lifesaver for my messed up shoulder. Really holds it in the socket. Wear it under my shirt and it’s fine. Takes a day or two of getting used to. It’s gotten pretty beat up but still holding up. Won’t last forever.

It wonderfully helps him to be released from shoulder pain
My husband always wears this brace after his baseball game. It wonderfully helps him to be released from shoulder pain. It fits well, but if he wears it all day long, it goes up along his upper arm and tighten his armfit. If you want to try this, make sure when measuring your size.

Very supportive
I tried another brand for a shoulder brace and all it did is press my arm to my side. This one actually lifts my arm into my shoulder socket. It doesn’t give me an extraordinary amount of extra support but it’s just enough to take some strain off the tissues and keep my shoulder, with it’s partially torn rotator cuff, from getting over fatigued too soon. The underside of the brace kinda binds the soft skin under the bicep, so I cut the end off a sock and slip that onto my arm first to provide a sleeve of protection from the binding. I don’t like the strap going around my torso, so I stretch it down and loop it inside my belt by the buckle. That also seems to increase the support. It costs a lot more than the next shoulder braces of other brands, but imho it’s exponentially better so worth the cost.

Received an open used item without any box
I recently purchased a shoulder wrap from Bauerfeind, expecting top-notch quality and service given the brand's reputation. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but positive. When my order arrived, I was shocked to find that the shoulder wrap was delivered without any box or proper packaging. To make matters worse, it was clearly a used item. The fabric showed signs of wear. This is completely unacceptable, especially for a brand that markets itself as a premium option.I’m extremely disappointed. I trusted Bauerfeind to deliver a high-quality, new product, but instead, I received a used item that even had any box. I will not be purchasing from Bauerfeind again and strongly advise others to be cautious before ordering from them.

Good support but uncomfortable
I was hoping this was the shoulder brace I needed for my tendinitis. It had good compression, wasnt bulky, materials comfy, and could be worn under shirt. Problem was the design under armpit area was way too tight and started cutting off circulation. Going bigger reduced compression I needed. They need to open up the armpit area more so its more comfortable. Almost a keeper.

Will keep shoulder aligned
It is a shoulder brace not a miracle but it does the job exceptionally well.It remains on securely amidst pretty intensive workouts and conditioning, for instance two hours of martial arts training. If you are just sitting around wearing it your arm may start to go to sleep as long as you are moving that is not an issue I encountered.

Didn’t look new
The edges and surfaces were frayed and looked as though someone had tried it and returned it! We paid full price, an expensive item, and should have been in perfect, unused condition.

Thank Goodness I found it!
I had recently had surgery to pin and secure my left shoulder rotator cuff after coming a cropper from my bicycle when I decided I needed more than the cheap Chinese sling the hospital gave me and bought the Bauerfeind brace from Amazon. I'm a 69 year old male. I'm pleased to report that it had immediate befit in reducing the continuing pain - got rid of the need for painkillers - and enabled me to enjoy much better sleep at night. Even enabled me to get back on my bike again!Being and old codger though, and being a little bit misshapen from the ideal body form that the likes of Bauerfeind prefer to use for modelling their products, I'd recommend if you're anything like me, going through a medical professional in purchasing one of these in view of the expense. Unfortunately not much of an option where I live, off the beaten track. The reason being that the recommended size of the brace is based on the circumference of the bicep as you will see, but my bicep had wasted somewhat due to the injury and before the surgery and the correspondence between bicep and chest/waist measurements for a "standard" male - as per their beautiful model! - had been lost so the waist strap on me is a wee bit too short and angles down my chest rather than sits horizontally as on the model picture. The brace is well elasticised however and feels pretty comfortable and it's advantages outweigh by far, the disadvantages. I'm certainly glad I made the purchase and I'm convinced that what I initially thought would be something of a gamble, has paid off.
