Perfect for people with knee replacement
I just had my 4th foot surgery and have to use my knee scooter for 12wks. I have had a knee replacement so the scooter has a lot of wear on my knee. I’ve tried 5 different seat covers and this one by far is the most comfortable. If you have had a knee replacement stay away form the thick foam ones because they cause a lot more instability for your knee and the extra padding doesn’t really help.

Great product for the price
I will be using this scooter for about 4+ more weeks. My shins and knees were bruised and painful with the rubber knee pad. I bought the pad made by Knee Roller but it was thick and I felt "disconnected" from the scooter, as if I couldn't feel the knee pad under me. I returned that product and bought this product and absolutely love it. The faux sherpa is soft, and I am aware of the original pad - I don't feel unstable - I don't feel like my leg will slide off. Great product for the price (unless you want to pay for the real sherpa pad)

Knee Saver! Very comfortable
I had a foot surgery about 7 months ago and after 3 months of scootering around, I noticed that the seat of it was getting worn down. Once I was back on my feet, I didn't think about a cover. Suddenly, as I was staring down another surgery I considered a lot of comfort options. So I bought this cover in beige (because we have golden retrievers) and it's holding up very well. My knees are well-cushioned and I am not smashing my shin onto the end of the seat like before. If you will be off you feet for more than a month, just buy it.Putting the pad on the seat is easy. and it fit well. I don't ever notice it sliding. The only difference with time has been that the sheep fluff don't need to be re-fluffed a bit with your hand. I'm sure it would be fixed with a quick wash. I have just been scrubbing little circles with my fingers on the spot where my knee most frequently rests.I also ordered the Vive sheepskin crutchpads, which were difficult to put on in comparison. This pad goes on without frustration. Altogether, I'm staying semi-mobile and comfortable because of these products.

What a relief for my knee
I bought a “cushion” before surgery and it was too tall, and too hard. I didn’t bother looking again, as I naively thought “oh, it will be comfy enough…” Was I ever wrong. My knee hurt so badly, I thought I’d cry every time I had to go to the bathroom. If you are having to use a scooter, get something soft and cushy, like this product. I ordered this one, and it’s not too high, just soft enough, and my knees thanked me immediately. I’m still a bit sore from the week that I had to use the scooter, but that’s just my bad for not purchasing this earlier.I couldn’t get the other taller gel cushions, as I’m on the lowest position already. I’m using an older scooter that a friend gave me. I think a bit more gel might have been nice…but I am happy with this!

Not my favorite surgical accoutrement
The Sherpa is scratchy, not at all soft, so during warm weather it was hard on my knee and shin. There’s not much of a pad in it so it wasn’t increasing comfort over the pad the scooter came with. Now that cold weather is here, I put it back on since I’m not wearing shorts anymore. It’s still rough & scratchy even thru long pants? Save your money on this one. Hard pass from me.

Knee scooter
This past Sept. I had a bad fall and broke my ankle in 3 places! After 2 surgeries I was a bit of a mess, crutches were given to me in the hospital but They Weren’t My Friend! I contacted my insurance to see if they could get me a knee scooter, unfortunately the only thing I was eligible for was a small amount of money to rent a knee scooter! After finding out how long I would be needing the scooter my best bet was to purchase one for my use!! I chose this one because it had good reviews and the price was right!! It was a try God Send, don’t know what I would have done without it, I used it for almost 6 months!!My Only Complaint would be is it had a horrible squeak that we could NOT stop, My Husband’s comment was he could always tell where I was in the house!!! LOL

Save Your Money!
I had anterior tendon surgery and have to use a knee scooter for 6-8 weeks. I bought this thinking it would help since I can only put my knee on the scooter. It’s not thick at all and after 2 weeks, my knee is getting raw. Once you’ve used it for a while, the padding presses down to about 1/8”. It’s used now so I can’t return it but save your money.
