Perfect for my 2yr old
Bought this for my daughters 2nd birthday. Perfect size, fits all 3 of my children in age 2,3 &7. Accessories inside are great and they have lots of fun with it all. Can add lots of extras too, we got the doorbell but can add table, parasol, bbq too which can do over time.First thought we had no instructions but they were hidden in one of the packages inside the box. It did take around 3-4hrs to complete, not because it was difficult or hard to follow but lots of random bits you’d think would come ready assembled but you have to do it yourself, for example the tap came in about 6/7 pieces! And it jumps from putting the walls together to a small bit then back to putting the walls on… strange!Would def recommend a magnetic screwdriver as some are hard to get to and a Stanley knife to cut all the small pieces stuck together by tiny strings of plastic.

Sturdy well made playhouse
Amazing and very sturdy playhouse.BUT make sure you give yourself plenty of time to assemble. We were three hours in on Christmas Eve and gave up before putting the roof on. There’s a mass of little brown bags and bigger brown bags with all sorts of screws, bolts and accessories to sort through. This alone will take you a good 10 minutes especially working out which screw is which. I would advice reading through the epically long manual while having a cuppa before you start. Would also advise there are two of you to put it together as the initial side panels are a bit tricky to get in place and keep in place while screwing together.Even though the roof still hasn’t been put on yet my daughter absolutely loves is and has played with it continuously since Christmas morning.

Hard to put up but a pleasure to play with
It is a nightmare to put this together and I did it all after bedtime the night before my son’s birthday and was still there at 1am although had stopped to eat during that time. I would recommend counting out the screws for identification as I didn’t do this and ended up using the wrong screws. The pictures of the screws I found unrepresentative of the actual screw and they are easily confused. If I had counted them out I would not have had this problem. I also made the mistake of getting using the grey plastic screws for the windows instead of the red ones. One of these is a real pain to change as the whole cooker assembly is under this so just make sure you have the right ones.I find the fully assembled play house is sturdy and fun to play with. The pain of assembly becomes less of an issue when you see the pleasure and joy of the child being able to play with it.I think this may seem expensive although it is cheaper than a wooden Wendy house and it doesn’t require a patio which made a different one more difficult to consider as an option. I think overall it is likely to last a long time and will provide reasonable value over time.

Really happy with our choice!
We looked at lots of play houses, and ideally wanted a wooden one. But for ease of maintenance we went for this plastic one and I’m really glad we did. I’m really impressed with the build quality and for a plastic garden toy, the colours aren’t as much as an eye sore as most other are. 2.5hrs to build which was pretty straight forward for 2 people, just a little laborious. Highly recommend.

Grandkids love it!
Nice size for children age 1-6, they especially love the kitchen part. Only negative is it takes ages to put together, took my daughter over 3 hours and she’s brilliant at this sort of thing but worth it for the end result.

Good.. in the end.
Bought this play house for my daughter. Came as expected flat pack in a big box with instructions. Fairly simple to construct however make sure you keep the screws separate from each other (there’s a lot). Got near the end and realised I was missing parts from the box.. I was unable to finish the play house which was extremely frustrating. I emailed Smoby direct not expecting much to happen but sure enough their customer service was brilliant and they apologised and sent every single piece I was missing. Overall very happy with the product and service from Smoby perfect for young kids just make sure you check all parts prior to building.
