It Works!
My Freesat Box with 500gb HDD is just over 2 years old and admittedly doesn’t get used very much, but I was disappointed to discover a hard disk problem when I tried to use it over Christmas. Re-booting did not fix it so a quick internet search confirmed that these items are prone to failure. There are loads of videos on YouTube to show you how to change it and this purchase was worth the risk given how cheap it was. Initially, I thought that it was not working, but it just took a long time to format itself, probably 20mins and then it sprung into life. This has only just been fitted so if it fails in the short term, I will update the review.

Great item
I bought this hard disk to replace the one in my Freesat tv box, the original had stopped working. It was delivered on time & works exactly the same as the old one & it was very easy to install.Very pleased 😀

It works a treat!
Bought the hard drive to replace the one that stopped working in my Freesat Box. Box is only 3 years old so didn’t really want to buy a new complete box. Easy to take old one out and replace with the new one which is working absolutely fine. Would definitely recommend and saved a lot of money!

Replacement for Freesat bix
My Freesat box HD stopped working. So I looked at a new box but expensive. So when checking online for a fix I came across a web chat which suggested a replacement HD. I took the relevant serial/model number and got this one. A pretty straightforward install and hey presto a working box. Not only did it solve the issue it also saved lots in expenditure. Thoroughly recommend

Purchased to replace the failed drive in Freesat receiver. Straight forward swap. No problems.

Failed disk.
Failed after 3 months. Tried to return to Toshiba unsuccessfully. Got refund from Amazon.

Arrived in perfect condition (albeit a day late).
Arrived fine and all fits perfectly. A shame delivery was delayed but I'm sure there was a problem with the carrier. Entirely content so far (just need to format and load all the software. Thank you.

Manhattan freeview box repair
Bought to replace the non starting drive on our Manhattan freeview box.Easy to install and worked perfectly following a factory reset option found in the settings menu. Nothing more to say, repaired a £160 box for £15.
