I'll admit I was a bit worried about how well these would seal since I leave my teabag inside my mug and I've had some ready-made bags break open after a half hour of immersion, but these seal perfectly with absolutely no issues. I used my iron on the lowest cotton setting to seal the bags, it's a quick and easy process.

I actually bought these to infuse herbs and powders for natural coloring for cold process soap so I wouldn't have to strain them which can be extremely messy. Depending on the amount of herbs, powders or richness of color, you might have to use more than one. I also use them to make my own tea bags and small bags of potpourri for my footwear and my dresser drawers. They are small but have many good uses. I can definitely recommend but depending on purpose you might want to purchase larger ones.
