I’ve had this for about 6 months, and love using it. HOWEVER, there are limits to its usefulness. When it is full of hot water, the pressure seems to build up and when you open it, it spits hot water all over your hands. This is something that obviously needs to be addressed! The way to combat this, as a user, is to ensure that as you are unscrewing the lid, keep the silicone ring in contact with the lid rather than the neck of the bottle, and this releases the pressure slowly, preventing spitting. The problem could be solved by the manufacturer by making sure that the silicone ring is permanently attached to the lid, rather than removable. I assume that this wouldn’t be a problem with cold water, but I only use it for hot. And it is an insulated bottle for a reason, after all, and presumably was designed for use with hot liquids.The other downside is that the water does not stay hot for anywhere near as long as other well known brands of insulated bottle, and the top of the neck of the bottle gets very hot (presumably this is where the heat goes). I’ve made this work for me, as I also have another, bigger, water bottle that I use for longer trips, and I don’t mind about the heat on the neck, but it’s not going to work for everyone.Other than that, it looks lovely, it’s the perfect size for a short outing, just about holding one big cup of water, and when closed, the lid does actually stay leakproof.

Lid did not seal as easily as it should have, had to use all my strength to ensure it was shut and would not leak. Cheap bamboo insert into the lid, if it is even bamboo, terrible adhesive/glue, the lid is also hollow so not sure how it can claim to be insulated when a key point is uninsulated. You are better off going to your Local Tesco or TK maxx to purchase a bottle thats 10x better and half the price of this.

I got the 1000ml insulated version. This thing is gooooood. The top easily unscrews and is watertight without over-tightening it. My water stays cold all day, even in sweltering heat. The carry handle on the lid is solid. It’s very easy to clean and it looks good with its wooden top. Great bottle!

It leaks from the handle hole/ gap

I've been using this bottle for a couple months now and love it. I take it to work in my backpack, either in the side pocket or lying on its side in my bag and so far I've found it be leakproof.I've only filled it with cold water, and there is no nasty taste and the bottle keeps the water cool for several hours.It's got a relatively wide hole so it's easy to clean too - I have no trouble getting my washing up brush inside for a good scrub. The only problem I find is that the wide hole makes it hard to drink as I walk! I have to stop to drink or it splashes around my mouth!All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to others.

Perfect size for my bag. Keeps my water fresh and doesn't leak at all.

The lid for the water bottle I received does not fit very well. It is not easy to screw on and makes metal grinding noises when screwing on. This has already made scratches in the cap threads from opening and closing less than 10 times, and I will probably not use this bottle due to the metal filings made by the grinding of the lid against the neck. I would consider this to be a very poor quality item, given the example I have received.

My daughter chose this for school as she wanted a smaller one to fit in her bag. It looks great, doesn’t leak and keeps her drink lovely and cool. Highly recommend.

It's quite nice. Solid and sturdy, it keeps cold things cold for a good long while. Out of all the water bottles on Amazon, this is the only one that caught my eye and I don't regret buying it.
