Good for the money
I'm not a very articulate tea critic, so I'll just say it is very good for the price. It has a deep red color, and a faintly sweet taste if not overbrewed. Rich but also bright. I drink it a lot, don't get tired of it. Good clean water, temperature, and brewing strength all matter. If you happen to get it just right, it really is great.

Very Nice
A very nice, Ceylon-style tea.Not spectacular, but far, far better than grocery-store teas.We would buy it again.

Weakish and difficult to measure, dangerous packaging imd
This tea is quite good if you can manage to measure it consistently. But it seems a bit weak to me and I have to use more than the recommended amounts I have found online, which makes it pricey.Although maybe not top quality, it is organic and tested for heavy metals, which is awesome! One serious concern I have though is the packaging. As so many snack and cereal products are these days, it is in a polythene bag. Many plastic bags used currently are being impregnated with BhT ( butylated hydroxy toluene) a strongly suspected endocrine disruptor which is also a V.O.C. used in nail polish remover. This evaporates into the package contents to preserve them. (I have read the patent information on these metal coated plastic bags, specifically. But other plastic bags contain BhT as well).BhT can also Disrupt Hormones, increasing Appetite by interfering with Leptin (one reason why food companies seem to love it) and disrupting Sex Hormones.Of course the FDA says studies are still being done and evidence is inconclusive!I read that the EU is trying to ban BhT in food use.We certainly don’t want to drink it, or give it to our little boys. The tea company was not able to tell me for sure about the packaging, except that there is no BPA in it.What a shame to put organic tea into possibly BhT filled bags.

I Drink This Daily
I make iced tea with this product. I use 1/2 cup for a gallon of tea, steep for 5 minutes then add 3/4 tablespoon of powdered stevia (I buy in bulk here on Amazon) and it turns out perfect. The taste is floral and pronounced, blends perfectly with the sweetness of the stevia with no bitter aftertaste, very refreshing. I do not notice much in the way of caffeine but I am not very sensitive. The one pound package lasts a long time and you can’t beat the price for organic and fair trade tea.

Five Stars
Very good tea for the price. We use this tea daily for masala chai, and also drink it black with either lemon or sugar. This is a very balanced tea at a fair price for organic. The quality is consistent, and the packaging is nice and protective for the tea. We have tried other bulk organic teas, and found this tea versatile.

I got what I paid for
If I could return this, I would. It's a cheap strong Ceylon. It has considerable astringency that leads to an odd aftertaste.I make tea blends, even at 20%, it does not play well with others. When I made a cup of just this tea, it reminded me of supermarket tea (like Tetley) the was it was a half century ago. But they were better than this.Because of the reviews, I have this a try. I am going to go back to the Ceylon I usually get, which costs 3 times as much. (which is why I was hoping this would work out).If just want a decent cuppa, the most popular tea in Britain is PG Tips. I drank it for years. It's not the good stuff, but it gets the job done. A slightly better tea, and stronger is a good Irish breakfast, like Bewleys. You'll have to try a few and see what you like best. I started with Bewleys Irish Breakfast. What I am currently doing is a blend of 4 teas. A very expensive mild Ceylon, a fairly expensive traditional Ceylon that has some real character, a moderately priced Darjeeling that adds a touch of that almost wine-y character that Darjeelings often have. And a midpriced Assam that adds body. Assam often blends well with other tea, which is why it's often found in a English Breakfast. This might make me sound like I know what I am doing. Let me assure you, I do not. I decided to use my government's largess to try some of the more expensive teas.

A good purchase
I love that it’s fair trade & organically grown, along w/ being loose leaf, so no PFAS from tea bags. Only negative is it arrives in a plastized foil bag, which I would think could be a paper or cardboard package instead, which would be better for the planet.
