Sugar-free black licorice flavored with TAR, revered by Finns and feared by all else.
This is a standard black licorice, which is flavored with tar and has the aftertaste of how a doctor's office smells. A unique and enjoyable treat!

i think they need to rework their formula
it tastes very medicinal, maybe its ok to just eat one because the aftertaste made me reach for pure liquorice extract pellets to get the taste out of my mouth... i'm not sure this will grow on me, i'm not looking forward to 4 boxes of this.

Good
Everything was packaged well and the order even came with a nice little note. I'd never had Sisu before and only found out about it from a game. I'm not a fan of black licorice and this has a black licorice flavor. It is salted black licorice with a 'salmiakki' flavor added. I think they are a unique and a really delicious treat. The Xylitol Salmiakki are small, slightly squishy and round. Rather than chew it you probably just want to let it dissolve in your mouth. They are a nice every once in a while candy with a pleasant long lasting aftertaste.

I wanted to try the Finnish version of Salmiakki.
This was my first time trying Finnish Salmiakki. I've tried salted licorice from other countries, and I'll say that some are way more licorice flavored, and some more salty than these. Overall the flavor is good, though I expected it to be stronger based on anecdotal stories from European friends! While this is my first exposure to this brand and the Finnish version of the candy, I'll definitely try other variations. The seller was great, and will definitely buy from them again to try other versions of the candy.

WARNING: Tastes like cleaning chemicals!!
I tried 3 different times, in case there was a flavor mix in my mouth. Each time I had to spit it out with in a few seconds. These taste just like cleaning chemicals. There is NO licorice flavor. I don't know if somebody poisond them but I wasn't about to suck on the whole thing and get sick. I bought four packs not knowing something is wrong with them. I just looked up one of the ingredients, ammonium chloride. They use it as fertilizer in Japan. It is from urine.

Sugar Free Salmiakki
I love salmiakki, but as a diabetic, it is impossible to find sugar free, so when I found this it was a score. As a bonus, it is made with Xylitol , which is good for oral care. The taste is excellent, that is if you like salted licorice. I will be buying this again and again.

Two Stars
Much saltier than I expected them to be, but not quite as strong as the Dutch-style salted licorice.
