It's a bit messy, but the flavor is amazing.

I've bought at least 100 other brands of black tea from all over the world. King Cole has a rich peaty flavor you cannot find even in the best Irish Breakfast teas from the UK. I buy the looseleaf. For some reason it tastes better than their bagged tea. The price is ridiculously high, but I still think it is worth it. Mixing it with a small amount of Twining's Blackcurrant Breeze will give you something very close to Peet's Black Currant, which is sadly discontinued.

Tea arrived with strong smell on the outer (mailing envelope), and the bag with the logo on it. Smells like after shave or something, VERY strong. The inner bag (transparent bag the tea is actually in) seems okay. I was concerned that 1. The tea was affected, and 2. That the substance causing the smell was toxic. a worrisome experience. Does not change the fact that we love the tea!

Not sure why this gets such high ratings. It is a good tea, but not great. Perhaps what I got was old. There are better tasting teas. If you want a great tea I would suggest you try Yorkshire Gold - one of my personal favorites.

For going so far out of their way to describe how orange pekoe is different and special, this tastes a lot like basic Lipton teabags.I brewed at 200°F for 3 minutes for reference (I can't get to 212°F / 100° C at my altitude), using reverse osmosized water. I will be experimenting to see if I can get a better flavor but I'm not hopeful.The color is nice.

I really enjoy this tea. It has a rich flavor. It’s smooth and not bitter. A really good tea.

My husband has been drinking this tea for over 15 years. Won’t drink anything else.
