Cosy pine log cabin look
I read a lot of reviews which were rather off putting when I considered this product but, I purchased it and I’m glad I did. Here’s my take on this item with tips and guidance. It arrived and I set to work to build it on the same day. It took me less than 6 hours to put the cupboard together by myself, firstly it took a while to figure out all the parts, secondly it would have taken less time had I had a electric drill, thirdly it would have taken even less if I knew which holes to insert item P (see parts pic), you do have to make these holes 1 mm wider to insert item P otherwise they will not go in properly or at all, use a screwdriver to gentle scrap off the wood around the inside to widen the hole but do not make it deeper (see pic 7). There’s absolutely nothing like a trusted screwdriver to get the job done. I did not nail (item D) in the back instead I used double sided tape and I will reinforce this with superglue. I didn’t use the black pins (G) as I preferred the wooden look of the top (see pic). I did not use item (C). Item Y is optional for walls. Now that I’ve built one; I know it will take me half the time next time.I have to say there are extra holes in the sides of the drawer which shouldn’t have been drilled in. Not to sure why they were ???For anyone who needs a hand putting this item together I’ve put the photos up with a few instructions. I hope they help. This is a great DIY project to do, just switch on the music and away you go. You can even get the kids to help (supervised of course)!I highly recommend this product. I have to say I love my medium pot cupboard. It’s absolutely the right size with enough room, the bottom part is high enough for a 1 litre bottle. The pictures don’t show it’s true colour, it’s a beautiful pine colour. If you’re looking to create a cabin or cottage look then this item fits the interior look which exudes warmth and nature.

Real wood
I struggled with putting them together but I struggle with Lego instructions so take that as you will. My partner found these easy to sort out and had them made from just one evening each. They are sturdy, real wood and look lovely. We used them as bedside tables. Perfect for the job.

Top quality product.
I am no engineer but old and wise ish and capable. But there are dozens and dozens of pieces (if you include the screws etc) and it is not easy. The instructions are far from clear, and this needs to be assembled in the right order, even if you manage to tighten all the screws (which is very difficult). If you manage it though, it's a very nice piece of furniture, solid and just what I wanted.

Easy to assemble
Easy assemblyAs with all the Mercer pine furniture I've bought this is good quality, easy to assemble and looks really good. Delivery has always been early which is great but I've never had contact from the delivery company prior to them knocking on the door. Luckily I work from home a lot.

Perfect for my needs.
After a lot of measuring and thinking I ordered the smaller cupboard and drawer unit to fit into a small space in my kitchen to store my frequently used baking utensils. Perfect - I don't know why I didn't think of this before as we already have one at the other side of the 'dresser' to keep hats, gloves, torches etc in. It took a little longer than advertised for my husband to put it together then there was a part missing. Seller was brilliant and offered to send the part but my husband decided to make the missing joining part so that he could get the job done before Christmas. It is big enough to store the trays I bake my bread rolls on, cake tins and my cooling tray plus a surprising amount of other things. The drawer is perfect for cutters, spoons, mixer whisk/blades, timer etc. Essentials are all to hand and I'm happy.

Good solid units
These are good solid units but the instructions were really hard to understand. That’s why I gave 3 stars. The pieces were not numbered to correspond with instructions so had to figure out for yourself

Not an easy flat pack
Small bedside cabinet which is exactly what I wanted for a tight corner. However not the easiest flat pack to put together. Some very strange plastic joints to fit in that don’t fit the predrilled holes well at all and some very awkward screws to get as the cabinets builds. Also does need 2 people at one stage unless you have 3or 4 handsOther than the assembly issues, decent for the money.
