Well just get them
This can is one of the best things I have every purchase they work very well I was a little concerned and dubious about buying this product but if you feel the same don’t buy works excellent and looks extremely smart compared to the Phillips Hue switch thank you very much for supplying such a good product and no batteries even better thank you

If you have hue get this!
We've tried lots of things over the years being hue users since it first came out. We're heavily into home automation so have tried lots of switches etc. These however are the best ive ever used and if programming via one of the more advanced hue apps open up a whole world not possible with other hue switches (at least non from hue). Importantly these look like proper switches so you can put them on your wall and not worry how they look. The energy harvesting is brilliant as it means no battery to bother about (which is a pain for some smart switches). We were so impressed weve purchased a few more. These are expensive but as always you get what you pay for.

Excellent but expensive addition to a smart home
It's a bug bear of mine that the advances in smart home tech hasn't been matched with improvements in looks and functionality - which has hopefully now been sorted with this product. Quite why someone can't develop a smart light switch that looks like a normal one and not something from the Starship Enterprise is beyond me.Overall this is a great addition to my smart home. I've set up as a 2 gang switch in my daughters bedroom - 1 button to control her main light and 1 to control her bedside lamp which both have hue bulbs which are now both controlled with simple on/off and dimming functionality. As I (slowly because its an expensive process) extend Hue across my home, I am sure this will play a role, although it will be trumped by anything that looks more normalProsVery very easy to set up through the Hue appGreat functionality - 1 or 2 button set up i.e. like a regular 2 gang light switch4 button functionality including on/off, dimming and scene selectionLooks good if not a little bulkyNo power required (i.e. can be placed anywhere and doesn't require batteries)Easy for the uninitiated to understand functionality vs a lightwave switch or Hue button / remoteConsRidiculously expensive for what it is (injection moulded plastic), but probably fair compared to a Hue button.About 2mm smaller than a standard UK switch (I have mounted mine on a metal back plate and it doesnt cover it)The buttons are massive (think Duplo and you'll get the idea)

Looks great and mostly does the job
Doesn’t quite integrate with Hue or Apple Home as well as I’d hoped. A bit disappointing as these are rather pricey. Not sure if this is a recent hue update and can’t tell if it’s a bug with the Hue app or the switches themselves, but when these are set to natural light / time based light in the hue app with “Smart on/off” disabled, when I try to dim up the lights it starts cycling through the different natural light modes, which it says is what should happen when smart on/off is ENABLED. So not only is it picking up a long-press as a short-press, it’s then performing the incorrect command.

Finally a high quality permanent solution !
The media could not be loaded. I’d been looking for a way to simplify my smart lighting for years. Like many it had become a nuisance having guests stay or house sit and not be able to understand the lighting, often turning things off at the wall etc rather than using the cluttered home app.My install was as follows:- I removed all the light switches and wired the circuits permanently on,- put a blanking plate over the fascia and- if a light switch was wanted in that position I’d stick the HomeKit switch to the fascia with the 3m pads provided- if not, leave it blank and place switch on wall in convenient position such as by bed etc.- then go into the home app and programme each switch to do what makes sense for the location it’s in, including setting whole home scenes (by the front door for example) or simply setting different brightnesses for lights or groups of lights. They are pizo electric (like an electric lighter) so they don’t need batteries ever - but as a by product have a satisfying click. The units, are fully modular and feel very high quality. You can swap the double switches out for a single only if you desire (included). They also have myriad screw mounting options, which I decided not to bother with as the 3m and blanking plate gave a cleaner finish to my uk sized back boxes - so have not tested whether the would line up with the threading in our back boxes, but the face plate would be slightly too small to fully cover in my case anyway.Time will tell whether they stay reliable, but I have a good feeling with the x6 that I have so far.It is worth noting that maybe 1 in 10 times the switch will not operate on first press. Unfortunately this appears to be the case with a lot of signee products. My somfy blinds are the same.

Maintenance free
I used this to add a switch for 2 hue bulbs to a more convenient location. Set up with the hue app was straight forward and because the switch is self powered it is maintenance free with no need for battery changes.
