They are not precisely what we, Russians, are used to. I am guessing it is necessary to change the recipe to make them better preserved and shipped from Amazon.The bottom line is, it works! They are awesome. So incredibly delicious that my wife and I devoured them in one day, as soon as they arrived! An excellent price for soemthing that is barely available.The condensed milk(sgushenka) filling of the nut, can be felt, the honey, not as much.The shell is not quite as crunchy as it could be, but its softness is very pleasing, and consistent with the filling.Russians who expect an identical experience to their past, might find some differences.But those differences are not detracting and for that reason, I would highly recommend this version.If you have a sweet tooth, and want to try something different, this should pass the test of flavor.In fact, should the company come up with their version of other traditional Russian desserts (Pryaniki=Ginger Bread Pastries, Shokoladnaya Kolbaska=Chocolate Sausage, Shokoladnya Kartoshka=Chocolate Balls, Glazirovanie Sirki=Glazed Cheese Cylinders) I will be happy to try them out.Well done, Gourmet Market!

Bought these for my friend who was born and raised in Russia. He loved them and was very happy, the taste reminded him of home. So I am giving them 5 stars as my intent was accomplished. But about half the cookies were crushed packaging could use some type of cushioning so the cookies have less bouncing around and less damage can happen.

Quite tasty, like the buttery filling. Packing can be better as it was stuffed into a tiny box, so quite a few pieces were crushed into crumbs when it came.

They were ok....the stuffing wasn't very good and too buttery, felt like it was not just згущенка.They were too big and too soft. I used to buy them a lot, back in Ukraine, and my mom used to make those too. They suppose to be a bit crunchy and smaller in size.For such high price...(for some reason, when I purchased it, it went up to 18$ from 15 and now it is back at 15 again...) not what I expected

These looked homemade so I was hoping they were going to be awesome. The cookie tasted stale and the dulce de leche filling was grainy.

My favorite Russian dessert, loved it and the quality is high
