Comfortable and timeless. I’ll buy these over & over

I guess my feet are used to wearing unsupportive slippers, so they were extremely uncomfortable till I broke them in. Once they were broken in, I don't know how I survived in this world without these. They're so comfortable that it's almost like I'm walking barefoot. I can walk in these for miles without a problem. Usually, my plantar fasciitis acts up within like 50 feet or so in flip flops. Just make sure you plan ahead to break these in.

I already have a pair of Mayari sandals in another color, but I love the style and they work really well with my plantar fasciitis, so I got another pair. I am normally a 9 in most shoes, but I am an 8 in these. After a few short wears, they will form to your feet and be the best sandals you own

I do not usually but any sort of synthetic leather or wear synthetic materials on my feet (my concern is durability), but these were a surprising find. I wore them for a month living in India, and they held up well to all the things I tend to do there: long-distance walking was comfortable and not having to break the leather in was actually a blessing (I usually wear leather Birks when in South Asia); synthetic upper has a bit of softness underneath, making the sandals comfortable right out of the box (and the sole break in more bearable); I hand washed them several times (not because I'm crazy, but because you kinda... step in terrible things sometimes when just wandering the streets), without the materials breaking down.The toe strap is nice looking and comfortable and the overall design is just enough rugged and stylish for doing things that are not really the best to do in open toed shoes, but you have a reason or desire to wear such. I am always pleased when EU sizing is used on shoes, as I always manage to match that perfectly, while US sizes seem to vary widely. My foot fit perfectly in the bed and the ridged edge made me feel more secure against accidental bumps or excessive ground waste or dirt.Overall, I am very happy I got these instead of the much more expensive leather styles I was considering. I don't wear open toed shoes in the US, but will save these for my next excursion.

I think most Birkenstocks are ugly but I like this style. I have large, wide, sometimes painful feet and this footbed is magically soothing. I also appreciate not having to grip the footbed with my toes to keep them on to walk all day

From what I can tell, comparing them to authentic Birks I got IN Germany at an authorized retailer, these ARE authentic. Birkenstock started using a yellow logo in some of their shoes, so a yellow logo does not mean they’re fake. My authentic ones from Germany have a yellow logo.I wear these constantly and have had no problems with them. They mold to your foot because they’re cork. The straps are leather and have a soft underside so your feet will never rubbed wrong. I walked around for hours in Germany in these.All that being said, $99.95 is what these retail for on the actual Birkenstock website, and at authorized retail stores. So if you’re going to pay that anyway, get them straight from Birkenstock or an authorized retailer.

Birkenstock are fantastic product. The experience with seller as far as time, prize, and product quality was great. My disappointment was that I ordered the Boston clogs and I received the one toe Mayari sandals. I returned them and asked for the right product and received again the Mayari sandals. I returned them as I do not need or want the Mayari. I believe that the description and pictures are wrong on the website as I ordered the clogs 2 times and both times, received the Mayari style.
