Such an amazing album!!!
I am one of Ofra Haza!s biggest fans. I have copies of all her music and every song she's been featured in, be it another artist's album or on a soundtrack. Her voice is one we won't ever hear again. When I saw this came out, it was a must have. Several of the tracks appear on her Manginat Volume 2 (Greatest Hits Volume 2) collection. Kashmir, Queen In Exile, Open Your Heart, Jerusalem and Mata Hari, to name a few. I had heard every track before except for Queen In Exile (on the album of the same name, this track is actually a remixed version of the same track that appears on Manginat Volume 2. However, on the album "Queen In Exile", the track of same title is called "A Queen In Exile". I don't know how the titles got jumbled up, but they're both awesome tracks!).Ofra Haza did not want this released. She wrote most of the songs (except for the three covers of two songs). As usual, her voice was perfection itself. It's really hard to choose a favorite track, as I love all of them. But if I had to choose, the slow cover of Kashmir, Mata Hari, Queen In Exile, In This Burning Town and Jerusalem are my favorite tracks. She really put her heart and soul into this album. I'm glad it was released. There is music that she recorded in the fall of 1999, several months before she died, and I am hoping that it is released sometime in the near future. She's been gone over 20 years and it is amazing to me how her music still sounds as if it were made yesterday. If you are an Ofra Haza fan (or even if you aren't!), I know you'll enjoy the album. There's a little bit of something on here for everyone!

Queen in Exile / Ofra Haza at Her Best
Queen in Exile - Where on Earth has this Album been hiding?! I stumbled upon this unreleased album by chance during an occasional search on the Great Ofra Haza, and purchased it immediately as I never new it had been recorded or even existed. Listening to Ofra's eternally etherial voice brings one such joy, peace, happiness, and light. If you are a true fan of her music and lucky enough to purchase a copy of this exceptional gift, you owe it to yourself. #BecauseLove! D.S.
