My sons love this set of "army guys." It has several different colors and styles of soldiers, even down to army-crawling guys and bagpipers. My boys like setting up battles between the various armies. But, the biggest hit of this set has been the planes and tanks. Like you would think, they're not very durable because they're small and they get stepped on. But, I think the value for the money you pay is pretty good. My boys play with something from this set every single day.

Just received this item the day before writing this review. This product was bought for my son. He loves it. I have four boys so there is always a surplus of Army men and legos around our home. He says this set is A-ok. The tanks in this set are mini. They aren't as big as the normal plastic ones you usually get. But I can say, this set seems to be made very well. It looks much sturdier than the usual cheap plastic soldiers. In fact, they aren't really flexible, and don't seem like they will break as easy than most. I guess time will tell on that. The shipping was fast and the product looks like as described. Good buy.

If you are buying this bucket of fun to have mementos that will be shared with your children, your grandchildren and all your descendants through all generations of time, then this is not the bucket o' fun you are looking for. If you are looking for some rock bottom cheaptastic plastic toys that may eventually be used as cannon fodder for when that sweet bundle of joy is old enough to buy fireworks, then this is the bucket for you. Let's face it, you got to this product because you were looking for the bucket of army soldiers from that one immensely popular kids movie. But you realized that little junior would have to be disappointed at Christmas or Hanukkah because you introduced him or her to that now 20 year old film (yes it has been that long, don't you feel old) and they wanted that bucket of army men.But when you found it on Amazon you realized, "Holy cabooses! Those things cost a fortune!" (Talk about soldiers of fortune.) So you resigned yourself to the fact that your kids would never play with army men. Then you found this sweet bucket o' joy and you thought all your troubles were over. I mean it has army men, in four outstanding different nationalities, tanks, airplanes, the works. And all for a sweet low price.So what's the catch? Well let's just say there is a reason why they're so cheap. And that reason is, they don't use much plastic. The army men are rather thin and emaciated, like they have been living on quarter rations (who knew plastic soldiers could be so realistic!). A few of them have caved in chests which makes me wonder how they got into the army. The soldiers all look a little Chinese (guess where there're made!). And if you are looking for historical accuracy, when then history has a few German bagpipers.The airplanes and tanks are all hollow (something they carefully hide in all the promotional pictures) so don't expect any of them to be stopping an anti-tank round. Some of the smaller tanks are actually made out of two pieces of plastic and they may have the tendency to fall apart (which may be a good thing if you are going for real battle casualties). The airplanes fall into two categories. The first are just hollow plastic shells with three thin strips of plastic for "wheels". The second have a flimsy plastic base that easily falls off for the wheels.So if you are going for cheap and don't mind throwing away broken army men for the next 2-5 years then this is the bucket for you. If you want something that will last so that your children will be able to share them with their children then you may want to try something a little more expensive.

My daughter used these for a civil war project. They are a little pricy for what you get. The quality is what you’d expect from a small plastic toy. But they served their purpose. I appreciate the variety of colors these come in, as she needed gray and blue to match for the union and confederates.

I have a six year old grandson. I got this for his birthday. This is perfect for that age. It's got everything you can think of, and I like that the planes are small for their hands. He plays and plays with it when he's here. It has four different countries, and it's so clever that each one is done in different colors.It has plenty of men, and plenty of cool other things you need in battle besides the planes. It arrived well packaged, and all I can say is it's tons of fun. Even my 9 yr old grandson plays with it too! I'd re-buy from this company if I need to buy a gift for another child. It was delivered quickly too!

Just received this set. I bought it for my soon-to-be 6 year old nephew's birthday. All the guys men, flags, vehicles, and planes appear to be in good shape. I wish the container they came in was durable for storing long-term. Other than that, I'm happy and hope he likes them. I definitely buy it again! Great price for this set.
