UPDATED 1/6/2024: I am about three quarters done with the bottle, and my fingernails are actually changing, much to my surprise. Not my hair, at least not that I can tell, but my nails are growing faster and they are harder. And they are whiter. I have always had yellow nails (and, NO, I do NOT smoke) and have always kept them shorter for that reason, but they are coming in brighter. I'm as surprised as anyone, but there you are.Update #2: 4/18/24 I ran out and haven't re-ordered because they're a bit expensive, but now my nails are yellow again. So for me, at least, these actually did make an observable difference.***Original review below****I ordered this because it has to my mind an unusual and very well selected blend of vitamins and supplements, especially compared to many of the OTC multivitamins. It has vitamin A, zinc, iodine, selenium, and copper along with turmeric, and not just trace amounts of them, either. I know this is advertised as (and certainly colored as) being a woman's pill, but several of those are very important to men, too. And it also has vitamin B5, another unusual thing. And........Well, I'm realizing I'm creating a shopping list, so please just look at the picture I posted of the label. I highly encourage you to follow through and do your own research regarding what is listed if you are not familiar with it. I do feel as though it's a potent mixture, myself. It's going to take probably the entire bottle's worth to see if it does what it claims for hair and nails, so I will update this review when the bottle is empty. In the meantime, the powder tastes like it should if the listed ingredients are truly included, has no or at most a faint smell or taste, and seems to have an overall positive effect.And did I mention it's bright pink? It's bright pink! I was a bit startled with the shiny pink color of the pills. I opened one up to find out if the inside color matched. It didn't! See pic. So in case you're curious, the PINK is just a dyed gelatin capsule. Since I had it open I tasted it, as I know turmeric is one of the main ingredients and I take turmeric regularly. Yep. It has Turmeric! My taste buds aren't sensitive enough nor do I take any of the other supplements individually to be able to piece their flavors out of the entirety. But the turmeric is definitely there and it decidedly has other helpers.

There are a few ingredients listed at the bottom that I really wish were not there. Titanium dioxide and FD&C RED #3 are both used in many vitamins & supplements as color enhancers, but I personally would rather take a vitamin that doesn't contain those ingredients. You also have to take 4 of these a day, which to me is a lot. But I would take 4 a day if the 2 ingredients I mentioned weren't there, because everything else listed on the label seems good.

I have read a few studies of the potential positive effects of a biotin supplement on hair growth and strength and decided to start taking this supplement. My impression is that I probably won't see the results for at least 2 weeks, and probably shouldn't expect significant improvement for a month. This bottle has 120 capsules, and you are supposed to take 2/day (2500 mcg biotin), so it will last 2 months, more than enough time to see if it has any effects on my thinning hair. These are easy to swallow capsules and they have no taste. What really strikes me about this supplement though is the variety of other ingredients that are associated with hair & nail health (like keratin, iodine, Vitamins A & C and zinc) and a few that I take for other reasons (including resveratrol and turmeric). I am looking forward to seeing if these work.

I was surprised at the amount of biotin in one serving, which is two capsules by the way. One serving has 2500 µg of biotin or 2.5 mg. there is also quite a bit of vitamin B5 and some good servings of iodine, zinc, selenium, copper, vitamin a and vitamin C.I’m not really happy that the capsules contain makes tocopherols, titanium dioxide, and red due #3. It seems these ingredients could’ve been skipped.The capsules are easy enough to swallow, and when taken with food, easy enough to digest. I am confused by the dosing instructions. The supplemental facts, say that the serving size is two capsules; but the instructions are to take two capsules twice daily. I suppose I should just understand that the supplement facts refer to each dose, which is taken twice daily.

These come in a shiny pink capsule, very pretty and gives the impression that they're going to work wonders. I took them religiously and didn't notice any changes. No taste, no digestive issues or problems swallowing, just no noticeable improvements.Just my experience.

This supplement is a mega beauty booster! The combination of collagen, keratin, biotin, hyaluronic acid, and several other vitamins give it a great advantage. These are easy to take, don't have an after taste and don't cause any upset.

These are adequately sized, and I'm not sure how well they work, but I do know that they are incredibly messy. As you can see, the powder from inside the capsules is coating both the inside of the bottle, as well as the outside of the capsules. While that may not be a big deal, one of the ingredients is Tumeric, which stains everything. Literally, because of these capsules, a brand new phone case was ruined (cosmetically), as well as several pieces of clothing. So, they are not worth any price if they end up costing you other, more expensive things you already own.

Viva Pill has a well rounded list of ingredients including Biotin. The serving size is 2 capsules twice a day after meals so 120 capsules will last 30 days. The capsules are average sized and easy to swallow. My jar of supplements arrived fresh, shrink wrapped, safety sealed and with a child proof cap. My only comment is that some of the ingredients are listed as proprietary blends and "Viva Complex" and I don't know how much of each of those ingredients I am getting. VivaPill Women are made in the USA in a GMP and FDA registered facility which is a plus.
