I ordered a beige one at first and the color wasn't quite right although in other settings it would be great. I love the blue color. I haven't had the umbrella long enough to speak to the durability and possibility of fabric fading but so far I am very happy with the purchase. It is very sturdy. The tilt feature is not easy to access, unlike other umbrellas that include the tilt with the crank handle. But we don't really need that feature. I included pictures to show the amount of shade. They were taken with the sun directly overhead. It is enough shade for our purposes as I didn't want a larger umbrella to deal with and take down in winter.

I love this umbrella. It "feels" bigger than it's description. The color looks so nice out by the pool! It's also very sturdy, despite some pretty strong winds.

I loved the color and had even bought chair cushions to match that shade of mustard yellow, but when it arrived there were small slits in one area, so I sent it back.

Just received our second one of these. After several years of Southern Cali sun, the black finally faded to Army green. Otherwise, everything, fabric, etc remained in great condition. So, we moved the old one outback and the new one out front! Because of the overall quality, I insisted on another of the same. Love this design!UPDATE - Jan 31,2020: Well just lost another, purchased Mar2019 from high winds. Until now with one rib broken and fabric shredded in places, I had not realized just how badly the black fabric had faded! Underside is still a vibrant black but topside of fabric is faded to a dull faded gray. I realize black is prone to fading, but this seems to have faded much quicker than previous ones. I’m bummed to have to be shipping again already!

I love the looks of this umbrella

The trim white outlined areas of my umbrella has very basic craftsmanship. It appears the seamstress ran out of material and just grabbed a new spool and just threw it on and went about his/her business. This umbrella does not appear like it will last past a summer season at best. Rule of thumb you get what you pay for. If you're okay with buying this umbrella every season or two then buy this. Otherwise buy what your pocket allows.

I purchased my original umbrella 5 years ago. It looked brand new when taken out for Summer 2023. It has metal skeleton which has stood up to rainy summer weather and wind shears. Unfortunately we had a summer storm with 70 mph winds and snapped it in half. I didn’t let an act of God stop me from re-ordering the same exact umbrella and it’s wonderful. Hopefully will be warned of higher winds sooner than we were this year!
