i have the world's worst oven and hob - this thermometer is helping me to know when oil or food is at the right temperature, so that i am getting consistently good results. recently started using a wok, and as they heat up very quickly, it really helps to get an idea of temp. also it has confirmed that my oven temp is consistently lower than the dial. also showed me that my fridge was slightly too warm. very easy to use, came quickly, very pleased with my purchase.

It Just Didn't Work !!
I eagerly tried this to try and find hot and cold spots around the house ready insulate for winter - However wherever I pointed the gun on known hot and cold surfaces it continued to read between 20 and 21 degrees centigrade !!Returned for a full refund next day !!
