comfortable boot, fit well and supportive light weight boot. Foot bed and sole amazingly supportive for light boot. Fabric a bit stiff especially through the ankles - took a couple of days of wear to breakin, (reason for 4 not 5 stars). Support of a boot with weight and fit of a running/tennis shoe.Recently updated review to 5 start for customer service and warranty replacement of my boots. After 6+ months of regular / daily wear, zipper in one boot blew out, similar to wear pattern discussed by other reviewer. I contacted customer service at Danner, shipped the boots to them for their inspection. Within 2 week, received replacement pair of boots. While the boot / zipper design may has some shortcomings, Danner stood behind their product.Thanks Danner for doing the right thing for a loyal customer.

The boot is very well made, lightweight and comfortable. I normally wear a 11.5 D boot and 12 D with safety toe. These seem to run a bit smaller. A pair of 12.5 D would feel more comfortable. I would’ve rated them with 5 stars if the size was accurate.

Love the boots. I wear them all day in uniform. They're still new so it's going to take a little breaking in around the ankles. I find this with all new boots. The fit is perfect, I prefer the extra wide 2E. Really like the ease of the side zipper. They also came with steel toes, which I didn't read in the product description. Haven't ran into any issues of feet being too hot or cold. Very quick delivery with Amazon Prime.

These boots are so HOT! Uncomfortably hot. Wore them while deployed in a colder environment and they were unbearable. My feet never sweat or stink until I wore these boots. Not to mention what the constant moisture did to my feet. Then they fell apart after about two months. Don't buy these boots.

I was excited to try these boots and so far they have been great. They fit a little snug, especially around the toes and ankle. The only real thing that bothers me is how short the laces are. I tied knots in the laces to keep them from unlacing themselves and now the boot barely opens enough for my fat foot. I have a new set of Taclaces coming so this wont be a problem long. Overall a great boot worth the money.

The boots are comfortable, and took about a day to break in. Prior Army, and current industrial worker, and I spend a lot of time in boots.The construction is solid, and I felt that I could trust the boots for the most part. I went with the 4E boots and for the first time in a while have had ample width for my feet, although the toe cup seem a little narrow still.I did find one weak point, though. During break in, my left boot kind of created a dimple in the zipper area. This lead to the zipper sticking out and rubbing against everything. The zipper itself is pretty small(especially when compared to other tactical gear zippers, which it was heavier duty), which meant that the zipper was worn, weakened and popped on me within a very short time when I was climbing something steep.I was able to run the zipper backwards and get it to seal back up most of the way, but there is currently a small area at the lowest point of the zipper that I cannot get back together. This has lead to a second pop when in a similar situation as the fist time, and now I 'favor' my right foot when doing anything but walking so as to avoid another blowout.I am going to contact Danner to see if they can do a repair, and if they can, I will probably sew in some sort of protective flap to keep the zipper from wearing down on it in the future.On a side note, as I said, I got the 4E boots, and they look like Frankenstein feet with how tall/wide they are. People have commented as such.

Disappointed with the product reliability. After less than 8 months of normal use the side zippers have failed. I would not buy this boot again. Recommend the lace up only version.

These boots are what I would expect from Danner. I have been wearing their boots for many years now. I love the weight and feel of these boots and they look great.
