Exactly what I ordered
It was well packaged and I got exactly what I ordered. It's a beautiful slice of walnut. I did oil it after washing it. I try to take care of my cutting boards and utensils. I'm very happy with my board, it has a beautiful grain. I'd order it again for sure.

Good quality
Seems legit, seems like great quality and real wood. I've used it a few times so far. I appreciated it came with the kit which included the oil. No complaints do far.

Updated: DO NOT BUY
Update 1 year and 3 months later: This board continually warps little by little, and now it’s no longer usable because of how warped it is. I don’t ever keep my cutting boards in water, so I can only conclude that it’s a subpar product overall.Find something else.—-In the world of cutting boards, this is not “expensive.” I have my Boos cutting boards, but both of mine are big, heavy, and maple, and I wanted to have a smaller, lighter board made of something else, preferably darker. I also don’t need another board that costs $200-300, so I searched on Amazon for a walnut cutting board, leading me to this one.The size is great (17x11). But the quality of the walnut seems a little subpar for a cutting board. Worse, the finish is really unacceptable. You can oil a new cutting board and wipe with a paper towel to see how much snag the board has, with white bits of paper towel everywhere. This one was unacceptable. In my case, I have every kind of sanding paper available so I used a 120, 200, then 400 on it. I oiled and waxed it, and it was much better. I repeated once more and it was what I wanted — looking as the photos in my review show.I’d say that the small amount of labor it required to get it to the condition I want was not too bad. But the wood is pretty soft and I’ll be conditioning it often. I find I use it a lot due to it being lightweight and smaller (unlike my other boards) and I like the darker color. It looks really neutral on the countertop.I want one more cutting board that is smaller - but for the above reasons, I won’t be buying this brand again. While I don’t mind the work, I’m sure many would prefer a cutting board to be perfect out of the box. This one leaves a bit to be desired.

Good quality
I like this board a lot. This is just the right size, and you can use either side. The finish is not as smooth as others I have seen ( or have) but I think it is probably smooth enough. I also like that it is not “too thick” which just makes it heavier

Lovely and double sided
I've never had a wooden cutting board, but i'm trying to get rid of microplastics in our food and life. I wasn't sure this was going to be the correct size, but it really is. One side has a trough for juice or gravy, the other is flat. We use the flat sides because crumbs kept getting in the trough. If i carve juicy meat or veggies, i'll use the trough side. The finish on this is gorgeous. I am almost paranoid about people messing it up. I got a brush and scrapper for it, which works great. but someone already put a stain ring on it and i cant get it off. So, i guess i need to look up the care and feeding of your wooden cutting board. I don't have the oil yet.The one i got does not lift up easily, so i still also use the little handled one if mincing onions to put in a pot.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is uncertain of getting a wooden cutting board. It has no glue or inlay to breakdown into your food.

Disappointed in quality
I purchased because it was made in Canada and said it was free from all the “bad stuff” but it was wrapped in plastic with a couple of QR codes on the front and both codes do not have working links. Once opened the board looked oily from treatment so I washed for the first time and right away you can feel the roughness of the wood and a dark color came off the board when washed. It it a stain? Is it safe for my food? Who knows how true their information is. It shows them sanding it smooth in their advertisement and clearly that wasn’t done. Have they outsourced this? Because quality is not what they advertise. I’m very disappointed and will be sending back. Photo was taken when I first washed as it was hard to see when it was dry. Hope this helps someone else making their decision.
