Nice Beginner Bow
I purchased this bow for my wife and grandson to use. I selected a 35# draw weight and that feels about right (I have not yet tested to see if that weight is absolutely accurate). The bow is accurate, has no hand shock, and kicks the arrows away nicely. The workmanship was better than I would have expected for such an inexpensive bow. I would recommend this item for those who are thinking about getting into horse bow archery or shooting with thumb release; minimal investment for a really nice beginner bow. If this bow came in 70# - 100#, I would buy a few more of these for myself!

Good beginner bow
Excellent bow for price, well made. If you are a more advanced shooter, this bow has significant hand shock. I bought 35# and my other AF archery bow is far better than this model. Great bow for true beginners. They could lighten the bow by removing the faux leather on the limbs. It's not needed. Item shipped quickly.

Extremely happy with the bow
This short bow is so much fun to shoot. I've shot over 500 arrows with it. My 35lb bow shoots 355 grain arrows good from about 25 yards & in. I just ordered some shorter/lighter arrows that will probably fly even better. There's a little bit of wear where the arrow rests, as expected. The string is still holding up good with almost no wear.I highly recommend this bow to anyone that wants to try thumb release, shooting ambidextrious, shooting while running, shooting off of horse back, or speed shooting.Note: The "ox horn" upgrade is the small black piece attatched to the wood siyahs. The entire siyah is not ox horn.

A real nice sipahi (Ottoman Turkish short bow) fiberglass replica.
As soon as I got it, I measured it. It pulls at exactly 35lbs. at 28ins. It does stack after that. Good for beginners who want to try/experiment with thumb-draw techniques. The riser has a good grip and its light.
