The solution in this set is a bit different from the usual minoxidil liquids and foams I've used before. This one is a dark colored viscous serum that requires being applied a bit more carefully than other solutions. One, because it could stain your clothes. Two, it will firm up your hair to a stiff crunchy finish. It's not easy to work into a standard lifestyle but then again minoxidil products in general require dedication and long-term commitment. Don't expect results in a month. Keep at it for 6 and that's when I started seeing growth. I apply it at night before bed and in the morning I wash it out. Not bad. The scent is vaguely alcohol tinged but not much else. The saw palmetto and lauryl sulfate shampoo lathers well and gets the syrum out even better. Verdict's still out on whether it's of use beyond being a shampoo though. Overall, recommended.

So I bought this for my dad because he’s basically bald now and has very little hair. I thought this could help him grow his hair back. So far it hasn’t done anything but he’s only be using it for a couple weeks now. I personally don’t think the shampoo has any smell but my dad is not a fan of it, says it’s a medicine type of smell. It comes with shampoo and oil treatment. I’m excited to see results so I’m just going to give it more time.
