An honest review.
This is not a moldy/musty old surplus stock.This is brand new. Very minimalist. Light weight and comfortable.I'm 6' tall with a 40" waist size and this fit perfectly. I can sit comfortably and move freely with minimal movement of the cummerbund.This is newly manufactured. I took tweezers and toe nail clippers to all the loose threads.The canvas body is double stitched and feels very durable. The shoulder straps feel like canvas but the waist straps feel like Nylon (better for tying behind your back than canvas)The buttons feel and look like treated bamboo. The button straps are stitched well but I can forsee them coming loose if used heavily (easy to re-stitch)It holds three metal magazines very well with no wiggle movement but It will not fit thicker polymer magazines like Tapco mags and still button closed.It has four grenade pockets. Two on each side. But they are not consistent in size or the position they are mounted at but at least they have double stitching.I modified my straps with a 1" camping buckle set that I also ordered on Amazon. I'm not a fan of having to tie the straps behind my back but I could easily with enough strap to double knot.Hope my review helps!

im happy with this thing, it is excellent quality and it is brand new. im a smaller person and it fits me perfect. straps do adjust with a metal holder not plastic easy to change the hight of where it rests in front of you. it is comfortable to wear.

Durable
Even though it's made in China, those commies have been making magazine and ammo pouches for AK-47s for over half a century. Well made and worth the few bucks I paid for it.

Potently inaccurate description
Be aware it is much more green than in the pictures. It looks the same as most olive drab.The description says "canvas" it may technically be, but it is some sort of nylon/plastic. fine quality, but I wish it looked like the one in the picture.

Love these chicom style chest rigs, the pouches are nice. I’ll be chopping off some of the grenade pouches to replace them with molle and will probably change the fasteners on top of the mag pouches/back of the rig, but these are really fun, and really cheap for a good rig you wanna make into your own

Pretty good
Yeah it’s pretty good, seemed brand new, has no odor pretty much, holds 4 ak mags and does what it says it does. Very simple and adjustable.
