Fantastic
Was losing 5 apples / day to the crows. Now not losing any.

Don’t purchase
Very lifelike BUT wing pegs very tight to fit and bend when pushing in. The hanger is just pushed in. The bird slid off the hanger the other day and broke the wing pegs. So now not useable. In summary either I have a bad unit or don’t purchase.

Worked perfectly after an upgrade!
Rooks have woken us up before 5am for almost three weeks now. After buying a fake owl (which worked for a couple of days) I'd heard that the fake crow would scare off the rooks. When it came, the wings wouldn't fit onto the body properly, but I wasn't going to be deterred and got out my glue gun to make sure they would stay on. I also thought that the edges of the wings weren't realistic enough, so I bought some black feathers and stuck them onto the wings. The feet were made from black pipe cleaners as the original feet would make the crow stand up and they were on a stand which looked very strange when hung upside down! Our rooks are a pretty tough crowd so this needed to be believable! With the extra feathers I'd bought I scattered them below the crow and waited. It worked! Very strange noises from the rooks the next morning, it sounded as though they were pretty upset at my fake dead crow who was posing as a rook, and we haven't been bothered with them since!I'm not sure if it would have worked if I hadn't have made the bird look more realistic as I wasn't taking any chances! But it's done the job and I can at last wake up at a sensible time now every morning!

Fell Apart After A Month
The bird scarer didn't really work. I bought it on recommendation from someone else, we have trouble with pigeons. However a wing fell off after a month and wouldn't stay on and the pigeons didn't seem remotely afraid of it.

Doesn't work on Jackdaws!
The crow is quite realistic and comes with a hook to hang it with. Unfortunately the hook can easily become detached. There were a set of feet in the package but they don't appear to fit anywhere on the bird and no instructions to help. I hung the decoy in a barn that jackdaws are trying to nest in, but they have taken no notice of it at all! Tried moving it several times but still they continue to drop piles of sticks on the shed floor building their nests. Have also tried a plastic owl which was also useless. Looks like nothing short of a gun will stop them!

Does the job
Kept having jack door / crow attacks on our windows and ruining the window seals with pecking. Decided to give a go after reading up on ways to stop and hanging this decoy up over the windows along with some photocopied flying crow pictures, on other windows immediately, did the job and we have had no more issues. Just had a big bill to replace all the damaged window seals.

Doesn’t work
I didn’t believe the reviews that said that this doesn’t work. Now I know that it is just a waste of money. I kept moving it around the garden but the crows don’t even blink
