Great Guacamole!
Received and seasoned (3 times with rice and salt, until no gray). Rinsed and baked until dry (350) & let cool. Started with 2 cloves garlic and 1/2 roasted onion. Mashed and added 4 rehydrated chiles pequines with some salt and pepper. Added 1 large avocado (diced), 1 small handful cilantro, and juiced 1 large lime. I don't know what happened (maybe the lime juice interacts with the volcanic rock?), but this was the tastiest and most authentic tasting guacamole I've ever experienced. Can't wait to make more salsas. The finish on the actual product is not perfect. The feet look very uneven, although it doesn't wobble. I read that you can use hot glue to make the feet not so easily scratch counters. The inner bowl was easy to season. Does not appear or smell as if it contains concrete. All in all happy with this purchase. Love the included escobeta!

Look great
The media could not be loaded. Ordered five for family party favors. All showed up on time, well packed, in great condition. Slight variation on depth and thickness makes me believe these are really hand made and carved from stone, vs a cement moldCan't wait to see how they work

Terrible Packaging, great quality
Ordered one, it arrived with a broken leg. Immediately requested a replacement. The replacement order (Also pictured) had a broken leg. The quality of the product is incredible, but the packaging used during shipment leads to a broken product each time. Returning both and requesting a refund.

Easiest way to up your authentic Mexican food game
I used white rice to cure the molcajete. It takes some strength to grind it up to a powder, but it did the job in the first attempt. Rinse with water and it’s ready to use. Cleaning is as simple as rinsing and cleaning with the brush.The flavor in my guacamole was unmatched. It was amazing. Can’t wait to make salsa. I will buying this for a gift for friends and family for any occasion I need an easy gift.

This item is HUGE
I should have read the specs on this item. I thought it was a tiny little bowl you can hold in your hand. It's huge and very heavy. Think bowling ball size. Lol! But it still does the job.

Worth buying!
The molcajete is fragile and came broken when arrived, but they accepted my return and sent me a new molcajete intact. I am very satisfied, thank you!

Made by Mexicans, the true way
The media could not be loaded. First things first, "real" molcajete is made out of volcanic rock. There must be imperfections throughout the product. It is stable even the three legs look uneven. And I seasoned it properly with the rice, salt and garlic. Ready to make all the salsa I want 😋
