Inexpensive and works right out of the box
The media could not be loaded. My daughter wants to stream videos with our Lumix digital camera instead of her webcam. The camera has the MicroHDMI connector output instead of miniHDMI. We ordered this one hoping that ours would connect and it did. The cable is long enough and the connector fits tightly. The most important thing is it worked right out of the box, mating with the HDMI connector of the USB capture card perfectly. The camera image is on the computer screen clearly. As long as my daughter is happy with the setup which this microHDMI to HDMI included, I’m happy and the price is so right too.

Good solid cable!
It's a well built cable, good thickness, the micro-hdmi connector is very solid and fits well into the port.I can't tell you how many horrible micro-hdmi cables I've had that have felt shoddy and fit loosely out of the box, fortunately this is not one of them.Absolutely no issues running my laptop to my monitor, vibrant picture, no drop outs, sound is fine. This is an excellent cable, highly recommended.

I purchased this product for the first time roughly six months ago with previous experience with other HDMI cables. In recent past, I purchased the most expensive cables offered in hopes that the price meant the quality would be better and it would last me a life time. This was a mistake, because those cables only lasted a few months at best. I purchased this cable as a last resort with not much hope for the quality. However, I made a false judgement, as the quality is impeccable and better than the other unnecessarily expensive cables I had bought. Do not waste your time with any other cable thinking that the price means it will last; with this cable you get excellent quality for a below average price. The package arrived exactly on the expected arrival date. I purchased it with the intent of streaming movies onto my TV from my Lenovo Yoga laptop since I don’t have a smart tv. Being able to stream anything from my computer onto my tv cancels out the need to have a smart tv for just about anyone. A $12 investment into a cable is better than a $700 smart TV. I have purchased the 15-foot cable both times. Its over double the length, for only a couple dollars more so it’s more bang for your buck. The long length allows me to walk around with my laptop, not worry about tripping over a stretched cable, and I can sit far away from the tv with my laptop in my lap. The only complaint I have is that the cable tends to fall out of my laptop occasionally if I move around too much. This however could simply be my own fault, and nothing of the manufacturers fault.I was worried that because the price of the product is very low, the streaming quality would be poor. I decided to take the chance and buy it anyway, and I was thoroughly surprised and impressed. The quality of the image is crisp and clear. The physical quality of the cable is strong and seems built to last for years. I had to repurchase this HDMI cable recently not because the first one failed me, but only because I left it at a friend’s house and somehow it got lost. I was distraught, as I remembered how long it took me to find a quality cable the first time. However, I was able to look through my amazon past orders and found the exact same cable and repurchased it with only one click. The second one I bought I am satisfied with as well. It arrived on time, the quality if it was just as good, and it is just as sturdy as the last one. I have purchased this item twice and both times had very good experiences with the seller and the product. I am extremely satisfied with this customer service and product and would recommend it to anyone looking into purchasing a micro HDMI to HDMI cable. You can pay anywhere from $5 to $30 for a micro HDMI to HDMI cable, but why would you? This cable is sturdy, reliable, and is excellent quality. The seller provided great customer service which I was relieved about because I’ve had terrible experiences with amazon purchases in the past. The company also shipped it quickly, as soon as my card was processed, I got an email saying it was shipped. The market for HDMI cables is very wide and lots of competition and choice are available, they ignored the prices that their competition set and lowered it quite a bit to win over the customers and my business. Don’t waste your time looking past this HDMI cable, it won’t let you down.

Worth the purchase
Let me start with the positives first. I got the Micro HDMI cable after having purchased a new gen Asus laptop. While I was initially skeptical about the price, I was pleasantly surprised by how great it worked. The cable was delivered within a day or two at most and for the most part, it works really really well. The picture quality with any display is great, the cord length is super convenient, and the cable itself is really robust. There's no fear of it being damaged from being bent or anything of that sort. The only con is that it fits a little loose into my laptop. That could just be a problem with my laptop but I doubt it. So a small nudge can cause the screen to go black, but it comes back within a second. Otherwise, I have no complaints! At this price, itse definitely worth the purchase

Finally an HDMI cable that works with the Kindle Fire HD!
First things first - yes, it works with the old Kindle Fire HD that has a micro-HDMI port. (The picture on the description showing close-ups of the port will help you verify if your model is compatible). Movies downloaded on "better" quality and above look absolutely great when displayed on a TV. (This is great to have when on vacation and going to an area with no cable or wifi.) The one caveat is that I got a weird DRM error when trying to connect to my Samsung TV at home. It works perfectly fine on the two LG TV's I've tried it on, and that same Samsung TV had issues linking to a Sony Blu Ray player, so i think it's definitely the TV's fault, not the cable's. Overall, if you're looking for a way to connect your Kindle Fire to a TV, this gets the job done.
