Williams Gun Sight Mossberg 500 Red Green Sight (66370), Black, One Size

This was probably one of best purchase I’ve had with Amazon. The order was a sight I wanted to change out on my new shotgun. Order was delivered quick, install took less than ten minutes. I’m very happy, great company to do business with.

Product arrived exactly as described, packaged well. Installation was a breeze. Front sight blade fit snugly in the dovetail without any fitting required, and is held in place by set screw (Mossberg factory item). The rear sight was a simple remove and replace operation. I like the sight picture and the overall appearance of the firesight (black parts) vs the factory fiber optic (which is a clear sight with the fiber optic filament installed). The factory sight is a bit puzzling as both are Williams Gun sight items. Not sure why the factory item is different than the FireSight but I'm glad I got the firesight.

These are made specifically for Mossberg rifled slug barrels. And they work.The pic in the ad is not the actual part 66370. That's why there's some confusion. Again, 66370 is specifically for Mossberg slug barrels that come with ramps from the factory, not the ones with the cantilever picatinny rail nor do they fit smooth bores. The front is dovetailed but uses a set screw instead of being pressed in and the rear fits WGO/WGOS mounts. If you don't have the specific barrels these sights are made for, you will need the mounts and gunsmith skills/tools as well.This is the best price I've seen and these sights are hard to find. I recommend. The front sight is like a red beacon in low light and does not wash out when you're facing the sun. These sights even pick up light from a flashlight when you're hunting critters after dark!I would prefer a fatter front sight. These are small and more precision rifle than slug gun. But if you have a sub MOA slug barrel, they'll be awesome. The front sight is bright so it's not really an issue, just a personal preference.

Product is in no way compatible with the gun it is advertised to fit. It is not usable at all on a mossberg 590 being it has a dove tail front mounting base which is in no way possible to install onto the barrel of a mossberg 500-590 as advertised. Wasted time and money on my part FALSE ADVERTISING

Great product very easy to install with a tiny Allen wrench and a tiny flat head screwdriver. (This fits stock rifled slug barrels with rifle sights!!!!) Not vent rib barrels! Overall a very nice product that definitely makes for quicker purchas on your target. So far (and I haven't used them in the woods yet) my only complaint is that the red fiber is a little to dull between those two bright green fibers in the back.

This product is great. After a quick installation and "sighting in" my shotgun, this product is a huge upgrade of the stock sights. Even on cloudy days, the sights glow so bright you would think they were battery operated lights. When aiming they are very easy to pick up, which is very important when that big buck walks by!

Product as described perfect fit only problem is it did not come witht the set screw to tighten it down but the screw from factory sights worked

Fits perfectly on my 80s Mossberg 500 Slug barrel to replace the old broken sights. 1 minute install. Dovetails right in.
