Illustrations are great. Great book to get for a child who never heard the story before.
Very nice book. The pictures are magnificent. Perfect tribute to Irving. The right one to get to read and show a child that never heard the story before.

Good for the Price
At such a low price, I don't have much to complain about... but I will anyway. If you want to do any highlighting or other interacting with the text, this particular e-book is not very user friendly. Anything on the bottom of the page does not allow you to highlight. It jumps up to the top of the page when you try. However, if you just want to read this story, I can highly recommend this particular version. The illustrations are an added bonus.

Hard to read.
The ad says: "70 original black and white illustrations from early editions." They are not black and white, they're brown and off-white. The type is in brown ink. Why not stick to black type and keep it legible instead of cute?

No color illustrations
Although it is an illustrated edition, the beautiful Wyeth illustrations are in black and white. No color at all. Very disappointed as the pictures were supposed to lure the young reader into the story.

Does Not Contain Illustrations By Arthur Rackham
This seems to be a print on demand paperback (my copy printed 12 October 2020). The illustrations for Rip Van Winkle are indeed by N. C. Wyeth. The ones for The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow are steel engravings by several artists whose names I can't make out, not Arthur Rackham. All pictures are black and white. This isn't bad for what it is. Printed on acid-free paper, it is comparable to a Dover thrift edition. A trick-or-treater would be happy to get a copy in their bag instead of, or in addition to candy.

Extremly cheap edition, too difficult for 6 years old children
If I had printed myself with an home printer it would look better. The cover feels like plastic.Too difficult for 6 years old children.
