Healthy and plentiful. Pay for Shipping!
Red root floaters were nice and healthy when they arrived. These were packed in a zip lock bag with a single layer of basic bubble wrap surrounding that, then a cardboard box, and then a thin cardboard shipping envelope. This does not have any other protective thermal insulation other than what I listed. If you don't pay for the shipping, you will most likely receive mush in the summer or frozen chips (that turn into mush when they thaw out) in winter from the extended shipping time.Second "bonus" plant was separated within a smaller baggie and stuffed into the larger zip lock with the red-root-floaters. Label said "water spangles", but I suspect they are actually duckweed from how tiny they are. They also did not show the little bits of texture that water spangles are supposed to have.I feel like I lost the "bonus" lottery on this one. I don't really want water spangles or duckweed, so I will keep those separated from my tank and give them a chance to grow in a different container (isolated) for a while so I can correct myself if they do turn out to be water spangles. It's still a nice gesture to get a second plant type that you don't have to pay for, and some people actually want duckweed. I will be disposing of these via a USDA grade vegetation sterilization oven once I can confirm the plant type. Either version ARE invasive plant species for my area. No plant from an aquarium should ever be "released" into the local area ecosystem without confirming they are native to the area first. Even water changes should be inspected to make sure "baby" plants aren't hitching a ride down the drain. All the plants were healthy and it looks like they will be able to thrive. Pay for the shipping. It's worth the extra cost to make sure you get your ordered plants and they don't sit in some non-air-conditioned oven of a shipping truck for hours on end, waiting for the next part of their journey. It's the start of summer here in Southern Texas. The temperatures are going to be in the 90 degree range consistently for the next few months. That means it will be 120+ in a shipping truck payload area. You will literally BAKE your plants to death if you cheap out.

Speed of delivery & plant quality.
Ordered on the 15th, came on the 22nd. Majority of them look alright, there are a few leaves that are damaged, but not beyond repair. Excited to have them already start out red, a lot of the pictures in the reveiws, they started out straight green. My only complaint is that I got so many single leafed plants, thought I was going to get a set of five, with 6 or so leaves on them each.I only got one pack of plants because they’re supposed to grow rapidly. You can see just how much they’re growing in a day, in the second and third picture already. I had to tuck them away so they could grow easier without the goldfish nipping at them constantly.I’ll update in throughout the week.Update: in the last two weeks, they have grown like crazy. They’re super red from underneath, but you cannot tell unless you physically flip them over, my lights so bright, it just shows green from the top. The last three pictures are the newer pictures after a week and a half. Defiantly worth the buy.Second to last update. After another two weeks, they’re turning red all throughout the tank. I’ve seen with mine at least, leaving the dying leaves long enough to keep the good ones from being submerged, and dying too. Plus my Goldie’s will eat the dying ones gladly, lol.

Great and healthy plants
The media could not be loaded. Shipping exceeded my expectations—everything arrived promptly, and not a single plant was damaged in transit. The floaters looked incredibly fresh right out of the package, with a nice variety of sizes that gave my aquarium an instantly natural look. The roots are healthy and beautifully red, which is a promising sign of quality. I’m especially looking forward to watching the leaves develop that rich red hue under my tank lights. Overall, I’m very impressed with both the shipping speed and the condition of these red root floaters!

Snails possible
Arrived well packed in severe cold weather season. Free gift of floaters was a pleasant surprise. The snail battle for 2.5wks was not expected. Red root floaters have thrived and given off new shoots. Good value despite the snails.
