My puppy hates anything that makes a noise…hair dryers, vacuums, electric toothbrushes. She runs away and cowers in the corner even when I’m not going near her with them. But this hair dryer is a miracle! She likes it and sits still while I brush/dry her. Works like a charm, especially since there was no way to hold a brush, a hairdryer and her at the same time!

I have a Miniature Schnauzer who hates to be brushed which made it impossible for me to dry her with a hair dryer and use a brush at the same time. She has a very curly coat, so brushing and drying at the same time is the best way to give her a freshly groomed look. Using this dryer enable me to brush and dry while I hold her legs and keep her from squirming away from me. My con for this product is that it is rather bulky, a slimmer model would be better to control and use. The drying towel is useless. Once removed from the wrapping it dries out and useless. More like a dried out shammy. Not sure how it can be a drying towel when one has to get it wet to use.

So temp, even on high it didn’t get too hot for my pup. I have a pug so short hair. He gets a bath and a good scrub every week. I towel dried him and then tried this. While it got lots of fur off of him he still was just as damp after 15 minutes. So I gave it a little bit figuring maybe all the extra fur I got off him was the problem. Even on high I tried again after another 10 minutes he still is slightly damp. I don’t have the patience or the physical stamina to lean over to dry his hair for as long as it would take to get him all fluffy and dry. His hair would take longer than mine with my hair dryer. I will still use it tho since it got a lot of hair off him and made him not so soaked.

Our cat hates baths, like most. He really hates being cold afterwards, though. This brush/dryer combo, is quiet enough that it doesn’t scare him, but also keeps him warm while he’s drying off. It’s sped up the process significantly!

We have a bedlington terrier and a toy poodle both hate loud dryers. This one is quiet and the brush helps straighten and detangle their coats while drying them quickly. You won’t get the straight fluffy coat you would get from a high velocity dryer and you have to keep it moving so as not to let the dog get too hot. It works well especially for the price. Better than expected and my dogs actually enjoyed the experience

The media could not be loaded. Unreliable, and time consuming. This doesn’t completely dry my small spaniel, for that I have to use a normal blow dryer that I already had. And this also doesn’t remove the tangles and dead hair like a proper comb would, it does half of both then you have to do the rest with the actual dryer and combs. My dog is never scared of the blow dryer even though it’s very loud and powerful unlike this drying comb which isn’t as loud which is one of its pros it’s not that loud but it’s definitely not as powerful and despite it not being loud my dog gets scared of it every time I try to start combing and drying him with this thing he runs away multiple times a problem I’ve never had with a normal dryer and comb, also the hair gets stuck in the combs and there’s not a release button like on some combs you have to dig your fingers in and get them out. The towel they included was a nice touch i thought at first but after drying him with it andleaving it to air dry, it made it turn into a cardboard basically. This is a cool concept if they ever make a proper one that doesn’t half the job so you don’t have to spend extra time finishing drying off your dog with your normal dryers and combs. I don’t know what most of these 5 star reviews are from, it’s mostly from Amazon offering people to review as soon as they get the product without really even having to go with it for a couple weeks atleast. Skip this drying thing and just get a better blow dryer and comb it’ll do the job a lot faster. If you value your time and sanity avoid this.

I own a pet grooming salon and we focus on providing a low stress environment. So many pets hate their faces dried and this is perfect for that! Muzzles, sensitive ears, senior pets, you name it! The heated option makes it work faster but never use the high heat unless you are working on a super thick coated dog and only for short periods as it does got hot! It even works to straighten some curly coats when you don’t have a fluff dryer handy. I BOUGHT THIS ONE AND MY BATHERS KEPT FIGHTING OVER IT AND I HAD TO BUY 2 MORE! The ONLY downside to this is that the handle is large and doesn’t fit well in your hand. The other 2 that I purchased are the newer version with smaller handles, however, I have to return one because the self-cleaning pins were bent straight out of the box and doesn’t retract without bending them more. Which is actually why I hate self-cleaning brushes and they never last in a professional environment anyways. The pins are coated which make is SAFER to use on faces and ears as well!!! I would never use this to dry a whole dog in a professional environment as nothing beats a force dryer without heat but for highly sensitive dogs or even full drop coated yorkies/maltese it is very useful!
