Came packaged nicely. Nothing was broken. This is a really cute set. I like the size. Its really good if you're just starting out. Also, the bottom on the inside of the bowl is rough textured so it makes it really easy to grind spices and such.

This is a very cute little Mortar and Pestle. I purchased it to replace a Native Navajo one that I inherited from my uncle. My friend was clumsy and knocked it on the floor....The first one I received wasn't packed really well and it looked almost like somebody was pulling a joke on me as both the mortar and the pestle were broken cleanly in half! But I received a replacement one very quickly. I would do business with this seller again.A friend was here and we were talking about cooking and he said "I'll bet you even have a mortar and pestle...." and there it was, with pink peppercorns in it.

I ordered this product for its compact size, given that I needed something small and not one of the large sizes. The item arived broken and not surprised given that the maker shipped it in a box too small to allow for any packaging material. I never got a chance to use, returned and amazon promptly refunded money.

used this to crush pills for one of my cats who simply will not take a pill - worked perfectly.

I love this. I have to crush pills everyday to mix with one of my cats food. This size is perfect. The rough inside crushes the pills very quickly and easily.

This is exactly what they say. I placed a pencil and a tooth-pic in the picture to give an idea of it's size. It is sturdy for it's size and is perfect for mixing and grinding tea or herbs.
