works good
i needed a product, that didnt create static, when grinding sulfur. i was wanting to make USP Grade Pwd even finer, and glass works. a pharmacist told me to use glass. i got a size larger then i need, my fault, but glad i got something that works.

hefty and look's like it eill hold up very well
much larger than I thought but heavy duty so that's good

irregularly shaped
Works great. The only slight issue is mine is shaped to whatever im grinding gets stuck to the side walls in a sort of ring shape since the bowl isnt rounded properly.

Not very durable
After 4 uses, we need to replace this mortar. We noticed the glass was starting to chip after the most recent use. I couldn't find anywhere to contact the seller to ask about this either. I think this would be fine for light, infrequent use, but for actual pharmacy use, it's not a good product. I wouldn't recommend this product.
