Great
I purchased an Aquael Shrimp Set aquarium which comes with their own heater that is junk so I got this as it features two suction cups and it is far better for a nano aquarium. I'm not sure how good the temp control is as it is supposed to stay between two temps and it seems to come on and go off often so I am guessing it is working well.

Perfect for a 10ltr fish tank
It's a little bigger than expected. But work as advertised. Keeps the water temprature in my 10 ltr tank at 24°C at all time.

Disappointed
I bought this heater as I have a 17 litre nano tank. The 10W heater’s descriptor says it is suitable for 3 US gallon or 10 litre tanks. I thought it would be ideal to heat a 17 litre one, and it does. It kept the tank at the upper limit of 80 degrees Fahrenheit or 28 degrees Centigrade. However, I soon ran into a problem.I got 5 guppies from a local fish store and after drip acclimating them, added them to the tank. They seemed fine even after a few hours. Overnight, I lost a fish. I put it down to stress, did a water change to get rid of the ammonia spike caused by the death and medicated the tank against stress. All seemed okay until the next morning when I’d lost 2 fish this time. I began to worry. I removed the fish and did another water change. All seemed fine once more. The next day I lost another fish, which left me with one. I did a huge 90% water change and didn’t turn the heater on afterward. It’s been 3 days and the fish is still alive. This leads me to conclude that the heat from the heater killed the fish. These heaters don’t have a timer switch and work off an internal thermostat, which constantly switches on and off to keep the temperature high. Therefore, I feel Fluvial needs to change the design slightly to incorporate a timer or an on/off switch. Plus, change the recommended tank size for the wattage. I feel this heater could heat a 25 litre tank and keep the temperature in the mid-range between cold water and temperate for tropical fish. I’ve just got a 50 litre tank which I’d planned to use for the guppies after quarantine. I’m going to see how the heater fares in a larger tank. I realise it may not work at heating it correctly but that’s why I’m doing it, as an experiment before adding any fish. However, I don’t recommend this Fluvial heater if you want to heat a nano tank. You’d be better off not using one unless you’ve got tropical fish/crustaceans that can tolerate temperatures above 80F/28C.

Tok large for a marina 360
It was recommended for a marina 360 but was too long to fit in the filter area.

Poor temperature control
Didn’t keep a 2 gallon tank above 21 degrees, which was pretty much the room temperature anyway
