The screen arrived well packaged. It had stiffeners on the sides and corners. It was shrink wrapped on the ends and strapped in several locations to keep the box together. The Amazon folks delivered it well and left it at my house. I’ve unpacked the screen, plugged it in and let it open up. As the screen was in the closed position for some time, it showed pressure signs, but once the screen was open for a while all of the pressure signs went away. The screen is perfectly flat and has a great ambient light rejection. My previous setup was a regular 1.0 gain screen that was being projected from 18 feet away by a projector on the ceiling. Watching it during the day wasn’t a great experience. The colors were washed out and there was no black color.With this screen, day time watching is enjoyable as ambient light gets rejected, it’s not all black but it’s really good and the colors are saturated. Of course the best time to watch is in the evening or at night, paired with a UST laser projector. The screen is perfect for it and I’m very happy with the purchase. The images are very bright and the colors are saturated. The night sky with stars scenes will not disappoint.One regret. I waited too long, but I promised myself I won’t buy anything new until the old broke. Well it broke as the power supply in my old projector died with a bang and magic smoke. So I got a new screen and projector.I would highly recommend this screen to anyone looking to use it with a UST laser projector, well worth the investment given the quality and performance.

Well built, excellent material and want to call out the very positive interaction with seller! It's always nice to work with good people.For those new to this type of screen, the material can sometimes be hard to see at wider angles, but this one can be seen clearly at nearly 90deg. The color is great, and the material is nice and tight so there are no wrinkles or depressions that can be very distracting. Of course, since it's not an lcd/oled/whatever display, there is also no glare. At the size I got, the brightness easily overcomes ambient light, although just like a regular screen, direct sun light will wash out the image.The casing is sturdy and looks good, and the acoustic skrim is an excellent addition!

The media could not be loaded. I mean I expected good, but this thing is really, REALLY good. First of all it's got a sleek finish. It's also very sturdy, even a little heavy, as I got the 120" -- but better sturdy than flimsy.I purchased during the holidays. It arrived by DHL a lot faster than I anticipated (I wanna say like in 12 days) and in sturdy packaging so great product condition out of the box. There's no assembly required. I've attached video/ photo. The version I got has a perforated finish just above the housing so a center speaker behind it tilted at angle hits the viewer direct.I paired the Vividstorm screen with an Optoma short throw (not seen in video/ photo); any reasonable short throw will do. The picture quality is AMAZING with AMAZING blacks levels due to ALR screen.Lastly, functionality is a thumbs up -- it functions perfectly, rising and setting smoothly... And with the 120" (as seen in photo) it's HUGE! taking up almost my entire basement wall. I highly recommend.

Update: this $2k+ screen started developing creases that are permanent now. Such a waste.Setup: Samsung LSP9T triple laser projector1) ALR are supposed to help with the contrast. This does the exact opposite. I’m losing so much contrast it’s awful. My plain wall was doing a better job2) The screen wobbles a lot for no apparent reason randomly. Ruins the experience3) Doesn’t do a great job with at rejecting ambient light. Gets washed out pretty quickly4) The motor operation isn’t smooth, the automatic motor feature doesn’t work very wellVerdict: I was really excited about getting this screen. It’s been a big disappointment. Really overpriced for the quality it offers. I would look elsewhere.

The media could not be loaded. Incredible Picture even in well lit areas. The best part is there is zero setup. Just plug in and you’re ready to go. I use the USB dongle to auto close the screen when my samsung projector turns off. The quality of this is exceptional.

Good picture quality for the most part, paired with an Epson ls800. However, there are maybe two or 3 vertical black bars on the far right of the screen. I was wondering if the screen just needed to stretch out over time, but they are not going away. It’s almost like dirty screen effect jail bars I have seen with LCD TV’s. Have noticed this with every projector - have tried 3 different brands/models with the screen. Trying to figure out how to reach out to the seller. Really like the screen other then this. Also, I am unsure how close to the edge to project the image as there is no border, which makes alignment a bit more difficult.

This thing is just amazing! I waited way too long with my UST Samsung LPT9T projector to get a proper screen since I was moving around a lot and finally got settled and was able to set this bad boy up and WOW the image has never looked so good! And yes I can finally watch sports in daytime without blacking out the room. There are slight imperfections due to the ink per their notes but you can't see them at 7-8 feet away and the image is flawless.Their customer support via amazon chat is top notch too. They respond within 24 hours with any questions. I had a bug splatter on the screen from when it rolled up one night which they asked me to take pictures of and then sent to their technical team to give me the best solution! Just wow, finally a company who cares about their end users and stands by their product. And the solution was very simple - wipe side to side (NOT UP AND DOWN) with a very soft cloth and water - I used a camera lens microfiber cloth and got it right out with light pressure. BUT contact them before doing anything just to make sure it will work for you and you don't damage your screen.I continue to enjoy this screen during the day and night time - if you have a UST this is a must!
