The Most Helpful Text for Students and Authors
This text is beautifully written and provides authoritative background and user-friendly step-by-step information on subjects including repeated measures, Bland Altman analysis and ROC curves. I have used numerous statistical texts over the years and this is hands-down the best.

Excellent student resource
This text is well-written and an excellent source for students interested in learning more about disease diagnosis, prediction, and screening. I used this as part of my graduate studies and enjoyed the easy-to-follow examples and practice questions/answers. The illustrations and online Likelihood slide-rule and Regret calculator were also helpful with visualizing key concepts.

It would be nice if Drs were interested and Physicians had the integrity to practice it.
Not a new concept. Why is it rediscovered every 100 years and then almost immediately ignored. What has the Center for Evidence based medicine (in small letters) at Oxford EVER contributed to patient care.
