I test lots of things
These test strips make testing water, pop, sauces, urine, skin and hair products, etc., easy. Dip it for a couple of seconds then wait a few seconds and the color changes to show acidic or alkaline according to the color chart on the box.

How to read the results
Colors are slightly off. Read it in 30 seconds, soon after that the colors fade somewhat. It is easy to use but I am not sure of the accuracy yet. I would prefer something that gives a reading closer than just whole numbers. Using decimals would help. However in fairness to this product, I think it is like most dip sticks for ph testing.

practice a bit before you need this
this is an instant test, and i suggest you try it out a few times to get to where you can read the colors quickly. it is not hard to do, just need to know what to look for.i have used this on pool water, pond water, city water and other sources.no issues, it agrees with the electronic version i bought later

A little confusing
I got these to check the acidity of Kumbucha tea during brewingHave not figured out what I am reading on themThey are not very user friendly and there is no real explanation on the boxof the 4 different columns I am looking at.I am sure they work fine I just am not sure what I am seeing. Their ebook really does not help

I use them to check the Ph of my brews and they are easy to read.

Product ordered and sent but was within days of expiration
I ordered the PH test strips on March 5, 2024. The instructions in the box said the strips were good for 2 years after the manufacture date. The box gives two numbers. One was March 10,2022 as the manufacture date and March 9, 2024 as the expiration date. And it was noted in the instructions that the product works best in the first 60 days. So I literally received a product that was 4 days from expiration from the date I ordered it. This does not seem to be a good business plan to me. I would like a replacement with a current use date.
