Great to use with braces
Great toothpaste to use for kids with braces. This really shows all the missed areas that need to be cleaned. My kids like the color and it makes brushing fun. Feel and texture is a little thicker than other toothpastes.

Great for a terrible brusher
My 12 year old son is the absolute worst teeth brusher. He has had 3 cavities before the age of 10. This is easy enough for him to use - rinse his brush with warm water first and then apply the tiniest amount of it and brush for two minutes and then rinse and he uses his regular fluoride toothpaste and brushes for another 2 minutes to remove the remaining blue as well as floss between the teeth where the blue still shows up after brushing. I only wish we used this years ago.

WOW - Best Toothpaste Around!
Wow! That's the best word to describe this product! I've heard so much about Plaque HD, that I had to check it out ... and WOW! I am thoroughly impressed! Not only with the coloring that guides you to focus on areas with plaque build-up, but the fresh taste, to boot.Must admit, I was initially nervous, seeing I've just recently started my Invisalign treatment; with this treatment plan, orthodontists place 'buttons' or attachments directly onto your teeth, which help the trays to re-align your teeth. You are warned repeatedly that these 'buttons' will stain easily - by foods, beverages, toothpastes, really anything. However, I am SO happy that Plaque HD, while vibrantly colored and designed to attach itself to plaque, did NOT stain my buttons! How awesome is that!?!?This girl has found her new favorite toothpaste - no doubt!

Great for kids and adults! Price is a little high though.
This product does what it says it will do. The taste (mint) was pretty good. It comes with directions in case you are not sure how to use it, which was nice. The price is kind of high, but it seems like a quality toothpaste and I feel like my mouth is more clean because I can see what I need to brush off before I consider myself being finished brushing my teeth. I sure hope it saves time at the dentist. This stuff is great my my child!

I have a love hate relationship with this toothpaste my review states why
I purchased this toothpaste for my husband. He like many others produce more plaque than average. I have a love hate relationship with this toothpaste and this is why.Love love love because.............First, I No longer have to deal with the hassle of scheduling dental appointments every 3-4 months.Second, the cost of the dental visits. (soooo much cheaper)Third, It actually works. (product does exactly whats it’s supposed to)The hate hate hate.........The toothpaste itself is a dark Almost pine green color resulting in light blue-green splatters around the sink and on the mirror. As far as the taste it’s not bad, not the best but nothing about the taste says I won’t use it and save money on dental visits.Overall, I give this product the highest rating and recommend it to anyone including children. The benefits and results supersede the messy annoying splatters.

Either I have amazing technique or.....
Every now and then I'll use a disclosing tablet to see how well, or perhaps more precisely how poorly I've been brushing. The disclosing tablets can be a bit messy and they stain my toothbrush for days. When I came across this product it sounded promising and worth a shot.My first impressions where that the product seems a little rough on the edges. I got this extra photocopy insert with some instructions. Just looked cheap. The cap itself had some black stuff on it. And additionally it didn't close very well. When I finally was ready to try it, the safety seal was very difficult to remove. The little tab for the seal broke. So I ended up up having to pierce it with a knife. Removing the rest of the seal was difficult and in the end I couldn't remove all of it and my hands ended up green from all the toothpaste that came out while struggling with the seal. When actually using it, I was surprised in that it did taste pretty good. I did as the instructions said. Pea size amount. Brush. Don't rinse and look at your teeth. Looked clean. No teal. What? When I use the disclosing tablets, I see spots that need to get hit up. I find it very hard to believe that I wouldn't be able to find some areas that needed re-brushing.I went to their website and they have a picture of what it presumably looks like with the areas you need to hit up (the middle pictures with the teeth with braces). What it really looks like is smeared on gel with the teeth wiped down except for the areas by the gum line. And taking a guess, this is how their "patented" technology works. It doesn't actually adhere to biofilm but rather relies on the gel being thick enough to stick to the teeth. The rub is that it requires minimal effort to cause the gel to turn to foam. So seeing no color really isn't indicative that you cleaned off the biofilm but rather the gel turned to foam.As another reviewer said. Good marketing. Targetol? HD (for "High Definition"?) I probably should have known that with naming like this it is probably more bark that bite. You're basically playing $15 for darkly dyed fluoride toothpaste.Returned.It's back to disclosure tablets for me...

Great Cavity Prevention Tool
I heard about this toothpaste and thought it was a great idea. I'm a skeptical person by nature but thought I'd give it a try - and it did not disappoint. Although the color of the toothpaste was a bit darker than I am used to, the texture and the taste were very good. The nice minty flavor tasted as good as Colgate or Crest. The results after brushing were amazing. It showed the areas where the toothbrush didn't do as good a job as I thought it did - and I thought I was a pretty good brusher!! I highly recommend this product for adults, for kids who are just learning to brush, and for kids who may need to see that they are not being as thorough as they think they are. If it can help you prevent a cavity it's well worth it.
