Best docking station I've ever used
*Pros:*• All-in-one design leads to less clutter• I don't lose all my ports while using this docking station - Big plus for me• It doesn't get hot -- This is a massive problem for the other docking stations that I've used with my 2 monitor setup• Tilted design facilitates airflow for my Macbook -- Other docking station designs don't let me cool my Macbook• Professional quality components -- I haven't opened it up, but at least the exterior isn't made of cheap plastic• It hasn't had a single bug and worked out of the package with no outside assistance*Cons:*• Even after a month I haven't mastered putting my Macbook into this docking station• You have to concentrate to take it out without violently ejecting it

Works Well in Professional AV Applications
I actually came to Amazon to potentially purchase a LandingZone of my own because I've used it a number of times in a professional context working for an AV company I adore. It allows you to be able to lock down your computer, omit the original power block, and have access to a plethora of ports. Display Port and dual outs work well. The only complaint I have is that sometimes it requires a restart of the computer to recognize the dock... and I wish the LandingZone power block could be as streamlined as a Mac plug. Other than that, decent product. Better than a dongle or adapter.

Expected a highend dock for the price - but it is cheap plastic with poor quality
I am very disappointed. I really expected a highend dock for the price of $299. But it is thin plastic instead of aluminum and the components seems to have a poor quality. The mini DP is completely dead - not working at all. LAN never worked and HDMI 2.0 für 4K resolution at 60Hz stopped working after a few weeks.
