These were awesome to use when my grandfather was disabled after a stroke. My grandmother didn’t need to get him to bed in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom she simply needed to supervise the use of this device. The collection bag needs to be placed lower than bed level to allow the liquid to flow properly. It is very high quality material. We did have some problems with the plastic when my grandmother tried to use bleach to clean it so I just recommend using soap and hot water. It’s simple to empty as well and lightweight for transport.

As a paraplegic male, this is a great product and the best of many I’ve tried. I would buy again and may get a second for convenience.

I bought this with trepidation because I saw some bad reviews about it.Some guys complained about the hose being too long, for instance. While other said that it leaked.I'm glad that I went ahead and tested the proof in the pudding - as they say - for myself.There were no issues for me at all whatsoever.The hose was just the right length to stretch from by bed to the floor - where I hook the collector back to a sanitary bucket, just in case of any overflow, to which, there was none.I almost can't believe how perfect this contraption is. And it is perfectly what I needed.Now I'm wondering how comes I didn't know about this all along, because, for years I've been using regular portable urinals that sit beside me on my bed - so I don't have to disturb my sleep by getting up to use bathroom.Many kudus to whoever thought up this idea. It's great. Love it.Edited 2 Weeks Later:I downgraded my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars.This is because of the top connection that one uses to collect the fluid: This particular collector is made for females but has been advertised as for both male and female. Therefore, I'm doing a return on this.I have ordered a different one that has a male collector attached. So, let's see what happens with that.

A wonderful product! My dad is elderly, suffering from knee issue, frequent nocturnal urination (3 to 6 times per night ),and recent recipient of a pace maker. Though he’s able to walk with a walker, fitting the walker through a bathroom door can be difficult, this caused him undue stress and literally 10 minutes of trying to catch his breath, then fall back asleep maybe a total of 20 minutes for a bathroom trip nd recovery. A good night sleep when someone you care for is struggling in the next room to get in and out of the bathroom is painfully minimum. Last recorded average sleep before the catheter just under 3 hours a night. Though the urination is frequent, there is no labored breathing and rattling of a walker in the early morning hour. Dad seems very pleased with the product. He feels confident, uses 1/2 less the incontinence product if not less, is less likely to fall with trips to the bathroom. Overall a great product, would be great if there were replacement 2 liter catchment bags. Clean once a day I don’t know if there’s a way to dry it out. It gets a 4 out of 5 stars at the moment. It is poorly designed, the urinal itself is too small. Urine comes pouring out! And because they do not take returns for anything other than a manufacturer defect, and this is clearly a poorly thought out designed urinal, I am unable to get my money back. I had purchased the regular male urinal a year ago, ad it held up until a hole appeared where the handle met the urinal causing unnecessary leakage. It is a good product (the original) but has some issues. I ordered a new one, and within a week, the hook that you attach to the bed snapped off. I am too overloaded being a caregiver for my fiance, that I did not return it, I just work around its manufacturing defect. I would highly advise that the manufacturer, step up their quality control standards.I have spent way too much money on these. They are great in concept, but unless the mfg inspects for defects, I will not be purchasing anymore from this vendor.
