The leather soft feels nice, the pages are thick for Bible paper, and there is very little bleed through. The notes are excellent and very detailed. I don’t always agree with Dr. MacArthur’s positions but this resource is super well done, makes me really think and wrestle with the concepts. Even if you don’t line up exactly with the positions this is a wonderful study Bible.

Very nice Bible and at a good price. So far I am very happy with it. Some say the writing is to small but I have had no problem with to small of writing. Some say pages stick together. I have not had a problem with this.

This study Bible has the NASB 1995 text along with nearly verse by verse commentary from Dr. MacArthur. The Biblical text is clear and easy to read. The footnotes from the NASB are smaller, but still clear and easily read. Thankfully, Dr. MacArthur's commentary notes are sized in between the Biblical text and the footnotes, making the commentary easy to read. The commentary is concise, and while obviously not as much as from a dedicated commentary volume, it is a nice all in one package. Dr. MacArthur is Reformed/Calvanist and thus the notes definitely come from that viewpoint in issues of soteriology, and election. He also writes from a cessationist belief in terms of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. As an Arminian and a continuationist, I still find this study Bible very helpful. So far the Leathersoft and the binding are holding up well. I will say this Bible is a handful to hold.

It has extensive notes. I love this Bible. I highly recommend it.

Truly a great resource for anyone starting their walk with the Lord or an experienced theologian! Must have in your home! Makes a great gift or tool for yourself.

This is one of the best study bibles I have used. It is beautiful leather bound Bible that is well written.

It is a quality item with good construction...I use it pretty often and it is holding up to wear and tear well. In addition to this, I just love the study notes. It was just what I was looking for. The notes sometimes further clarify the original meaning of the word in its original language, they bring in cultural contexts and they provide cross references. It has been very helpful in personal study of the Bible.
