Q: Are these the same ball jars sold in 12 packs for $12 at Wal-Mart?

I did not do product comparison when I purchased these jars. I am pleased with my purchase. I would buy them again.

Q: Why are people saying these don't stack? How could they not stack? It's a standard jar lid, right? The jar base doesn't fit inside the ring?

When stacking the processed jars if you leave the ring on they stack but not as securely as if the ring was removed. I only stack 2 high so it does not pose a problem for me. If you wanted to stack more than 2 high, simply remove the rings if you want them to be more stable.

Q: Why are they 2X more than Walmart?

They are $11.97 at Walmart. If you have Walmart+ it’s free shipping or delivery.
