OPI Milan Nail Polish, Complimentary Wine 15ml

This colour from opi is amazing. I love it. It is not only a lovely colour but has made my nails look stronger and longer. My work colleagues always ask what nail salon I go to. They are shocked when I tell them about O P I. Will definitely buy again and again. Thankyou

This stuff lasts forever. No chips, perfect shine. Rock solid but removes easily when you want to take it off.

This is a beautiful, rich nail polish that you could easily just use one coat of if you like a lighter shade of burgundy. As I like the darker colour I used two coats. It went on easily and looked beautiful. I love that there is a little ballbearing in the polish bottle to keep it smooth when you give it a shake. To me, that is a sign of a quality nail polish.I am not one to put on a base or topcoat with my nail polish so keep that in mind with the results I had regarding the longevity of it.As you will see from the photos I uploaded on day 3 the polish showed it's first signs of wear by developing a small chip either side of my nail. On day 5 those chips were more noticeable and for me, that means it is time to remove it.The removal was easy enough. I just soaked cotton wool with nail polish remover, held it on my nail for 10 seconds and then wiped it off with a couple of swipes.All in all I was pleased with the product, loved the colour and loved the description of the collection that it is part of.I definitely recommend this brand and colour.

Now, despite the modern days we live in and the apparently fluid genders that seem to have more variations than the bar scene in Star Wars, I'm a traditional kind of chap and as such don't use nail polish. To use it in the offshore oil construction industry would raise a few eyebrows unless attached to the fingers of a person born with two X chromosones. So, this review is by my dear wife AKA, 'She Who Must Be Obeyed.' A considerably more experienced user of nail varnish than I am. Can't imagine how nail varnish would stand up to oil, grease and sea water...So, over to the family CEO.OPI nail varnish is often the chosen brand in nail salons for good reason.In the current climate with nail salons being closed (just reopening) I have, shock, horror, had to paint my own nails. OPI have a huge range of colours and you would be hard pushed not to find the exact shade you like.The bottles are a fairly 'squat' shape which adds to its stability when in use and the lid is slightly rough in texture and wider than average making it easier to grip. The brush is a good size and shape enabling good coverage.This particular colour 'complementary wine' has a slightly opaque finish and gives a lovely shine when dry. It is easy to apply, not drying too quickly so an even coat is achieved. I find 3 thin coats work best to build the layers with a final layer of clear to add to durability.

Love this nail polish! It last long (but of course, it still depends on your daily activities). I got brown skin and this colour complements well on my nails/skin. It's colour is how I expectedif I'd just apply it 2x, got darker if I apply it 3 times. Even without top coat, it looks shiny and classy.
