I’m a truck driver it is well-built I had other laptop they didn’t hold up as well due to the bump and vibration of the truck this one never had an issue had it for over a year are use it once or twice a week and I love it it performs very well I know it’s a gaming system and I’m not a gamerI love the high quality of the picture on the monitor boots up fast and I could won multiple programs at the same time and it doesn’t slow it down highly recommend it

Love this laptop. I use it for school and gaming and it runs great. The only downsides is that I HAVE to have it plugged in constantly when I'm using it (whether if it's for homework or gaming) or the battery is pretty much depleted after 20 minutes. And that's with battery saving mode on. I'd also like to change the colors of the backlight of the keyboard but can't with what I've tried to do so that's a bummer. But I'd be lost without this fr

I don't like the registration process. I have tried for 5 days to register this computer and have not been able to. I have received no help in getting it done even though I've chatted twice (one chat person just hung up on me), talked to people on the phone, visited the web site they told me to but only saw replies to questions. I could not talk to Tom at all. Can't use Dragon to dictate or play games. Deeply disappointed. Very, very unfriendly user site for registering product. Don't know how to get passed the invoice receipt request. Can't cut and paste, don't know where to e-mail copy to or mail it to and don't know how to transfer picture of it from cell phone. You would think someone would help me out.

The Laptop overheats out of box but there are ways to lower the temp but while you lower the temp you also lose performancethe battery is a joke but i expected as much with a pc with soo much power but keep in mind they have some interesting settings in dragon center to increase the battery lifethe next problem is the ram it only has 8 gig and on startup more than half is taken up with what 'I' consider useless when it comes to gaming anti virus software and windows office and such of course they can be uninstalled but its defiantly not for straight out of the box gamingmsi design to move the keyboard away from the gpu and cpu so u dont feel the temp as much is smart but deceptive well that is the way i see it but life its a good laptop once you know how to keep it cool or you could run it hot and decrease the parts lifespan

I am not a gamer...not at all. But my computer geek friend said try the msi. Because I trust him implicitly, I just ordered it blind. And I can say that I truly LOVE this computer. When I took it out of the box, I just said. "Wow! This looks like a Porche." Gorgeous design and rich finish. Everything about this computer is terrific. The feel, the speed. It's the best I've ever woked on, including MACs. Highly recommend it for non-gamers looking for a super-tight, super-responsive and beautiful machine, especially for price!

Very good laptop for gaming. Also love how fast it boots up because its has a ssd. Can get in the 90s in temperature when playing some games. Just get a laptop cooler to keep the temperature down. Edit tried a laptop cooler and it did nothing. I had to drop the voltage of the processor to keep it from getting to hot. Had for a little over a year and it's still good.

Really powerful, mid-high specs and can run just about anything. Good job getting an SSD version. Okay design, exoected battery life. Fans are quite loud but has a quiet mode, heat sinks are at top of keyboard, part closest to screen. Can get hot but shouldnt get in ur way.
