This is a wonderful product! It's organic and much more affordable that comparable products. The taste is slightly tart, but it makes a wonderful tea or tincture.

I bought this organic dried elderberry to add to my healing herbs, essential oils & crystals apothecary; primarily to make my own immune-support elderberry syrup or elderberry teas. I have noticed a significant difference in my allergies as well as the anti-inflammatory effects on my lumbar arthritis & fibromyalgia, with my once-daily TBSP of my homemade syrup. I also have not gotten any colds nor flus since taking this (side note it doesn't prevent getting viruses, works by boosting immune system).[For anyone interested, I made my syrup with (all doTERRA EOs) wild orange, cinnamon bark, black pepper, clove, & ginger; also used mountain spring water, whole cloves, raw local organic honey & organic 10x-filtered vodka (preserves for shelf life); all ingredients pictured.]Very high-quality product, and am so glad to support Ukrainian farmers!! The former brand I used to purchase stopped offering organic (and was fairly sneaky about it), so this time I found the Pristine Nutri brand and am very satisfied with my first batch of elderberry from it! I feel like my family already seems healthier taking it (we got sick after we ran out of our previous elderberry). The berries were packaged nicely and seem to be good quality. Will continue to purchase this brand in future.

I came across these a few years back and have only bought these since. I actually have them on subscription now. It's a great quality product that's fairly priced. I use it mostly for elderberry syrup, but I have also used it to make jam, tea & lemonade. It has become a staple in my home. Highly recommend.

This is the first time I have ever ordered elderberries--or tasted them. My original intent was to make elderberry syrup; however, I haven't gotten that far. I've only made the tea. Wow. The taste is sooo soothing in the evening after a long day. The smell is heavenly. My husband says it smells like "Thanksgiving" in the kitchen when he comes in from outside. Says it smells like a pie. The berries are virtually 100% free of stems. I've only seen one tiny stem attached to a berry. I just leave it bc it's going to be boiled and strained anyway. I add ground Ceylon Cinnamon (1 tsp), ground cloves (1/2 tsp), freeze-dried ginger (1 tsp) and the berries (3 Tbsp) to a pot of 16 oz. filtered water and boil. Then I let cool for a bit, strain and press the berries (throw them out), and add raw honey from my Son's bee hives (from Alaska!) to taste. Amazing! Slightly tart but sweet with the honey. Perfect. I've noticed a few changes in me since I've started drinking it. Seems I'm losing some of the brain fog that plagues me. I'm a bit more "alive" and energetic. Another thing it has done is open up my chest for breathing. Allergies are something I've acquired since moving to another state, so I've been relying on a popular OTC med for breathing clearly. This has definitely helped keep my intake of that med to a minimum (I don't take any meds, so keeping that to as minimal as possible is important for me). So for that alone, these berries are way worth it. I'm still watching to see what it does and how my body will continue to react. BTW... It will change the color of your stool, so don't be alarmed at that. The fiber content has also helped increase the amount of my bowel movements. I know that's an icky subject, but almost everyone has issues with that... So it does help. I have been drinking one cup every day, but going to up that to one in the morning and one at night. Here soon I will get around to making the syrup, but for now, the tea is outstanding--amazingly soothing and very tasty. Love this stuff! I don't know what took me so long to get it. A definite value-added product.

I have been using this brand of elderberry for at least six months now. I make homemade elderberry syrup. I've tried other brands but this one by far is the best. High quality. I usually buy the two pound bags but got the 1 pound bag this time and found the card to scan for a free cinnamon which is another plus. I am a very happy customer and will continue for years to come. Thank you.

Have bought this product many times before and would have given it 5 stars except the bag came with a slit in it and berries were all over the box.
