Great gun for the price - easy for switching colors
The Gun does a great job. Changing over paints is very simple. I am very careful with the gun because it doesn't feel very strong but other than that it does great work. For the price I gave it 5 stars and the quality of powder coat it has done. It will do 2 layers of powder with out a problem, i haven't had the chance yet to do 3 but have heard it is capable. Another con is the threads to the gun are 1/8" BSP and I had to order a QC from the internet but nothing major, just lost a little time from not knowing. It is easy to change the KV and the air right on the gun. I hope this helps someone.

Very good gun if used properly and carefully.
Pros: I have used this gun very successfully for small projects for over 4 years now. I use a Devilbliss conditioner upstream to remove ALL the moisture from the air supplied to the gun. The finishes I have done with the gun are professional quality. After use I thoroughly clean the gun, cup, flour sifter (used to fluff the powder going into the cup), and the 4" to 3" pvc sewer pipe adapter that I use for a funnel with compressed air (doesn't take more than a couple minutes to do properly).Cons: the gun is somewhat fragile; the plastic is brittle and can be broken easily. However, it can also be repaired with superglue. Conclusion: if you want a very good gun for the price to do small jobs (less than a quart of powder), this gun will work well as long as you are careful not to damage it. To be honest; if it had been more durable I would have given it 5 stars, and I am not an easy 5 stars.

Still going strong 3 years later
Bought this gun 3 years ago, been happy with it. Have coated well over 100 parts in that time, basically anything you can think of that fits in a second hand home oven. Car / motorcycle parts, household handles for restoration, radio tower components, instrument parts, art projects, on and on. Yes, it’s plastic, but it doesn’t feel excessively cheap or flimsy. No, it probably would NOT survive a fall off your work bench. No, parts are not readily available, at least as far as I can tell. That being said, treat it with respect and you’ll have few problems. Faraday issues can occur on certain shapes, not surprising with the limited kV range. Lots of ways to overcome this, YouTube is your friend here. Not a deal breaker.About a year ago it started spraying intermittently, found one of the wires in the connector that screws into the base of the gun had come loose. Was an easy fix, and considering there’s no stain relief on this cord it’s not surprising. Many other reviews complain about how difficult the cups are to screw on, I don’t find this at all. Can you screw a lid on a pickle jar? You’re good to go. Others complain about spray pattern issues when the cup is full, or needing to adjust air pressure constantly. Again something I’ve never experienced. Fill the cup about a third to half full and you’ll have no problems. That half cup coats a LOT of area. If refilling the cup to finish your project is a problem, you’re in need of a much bigger professional system with a fluidizing hopper. This is not a gun you’d start a business with. It’s powder capacity and kV range will ultimately limit its industrial utility. But most home users are already limited by oven capacity, the best most of us can hope for is a used household oven and a garage with appropriate 240v circuit. This gun is a great size match for that kind of oven. Again, if you have a giant 20,000 watt production walk-in oven this is not the gun for you, don’t complain about it. But for car resto hobbyists it’s about as good as you can get, miles better than the cheaper offerings from Eastwood and Harbour Freight. With most pro powdercoat shops charging “minimum shop rates” or refusing small retail jobs entirely, this setup is a win. It’ll pay for itself in just a few parts. Buy this one. I’d happily buy it again if mine ever fails.

One Star
Did not work waste of money, sputtered the powder out when it actually dispensed the powder.

Comes with adapter for air line
After struggling with Harbor Freight and Eastwood powder coating guns for years, I finally upgraded to the Redline gun and will never look back. This is hands-down better in every way. You can adjust the voltage and the amount of powder that flows for way more control. No button to press to ground the piece either. When you press the gun's trigger, the ground clip is automatically powered. It coats the parts much much better than HF and Eastwood guns! It is wired for a non-US outlet, but comes with an adapter plug, so no problem at all. Also, I had read that it was hard to find adapters for the airline threads, but the unit came with a little brass adapter that screws into the gun and allows for a standard NPT fitting. I was up and running in 5 minutes. Not sure if other suppliers give you that adapter, so two thumbs up to the PowderCoatStore!

Great gun well worth the money.
Love my EZ50 Gun. Did have to order some special air line adapters to get it to work but its a great gun.

Nice Gun
I have a pro gun now, but used one of these for years and if you know what you're doing, they work great! Like any gun, you have to supply DRY, regulated air...and your hanging rod has to be well grounded.
