I purchased this to replace my daughters failed laptop battery. Functionally is what is should be. Battery charges as it should. Easy installation. Great value for the money.

This battery looks exactly like the battery that came in my laptop. My ASUS laptop had amazing battery life when I got it almost 6 years ago. Within the last year the battery life went steadily down and I was to the point of only getting 20 minutes most out of the battery and the laptop shuts off. So I started looking for a battery with good reviews. Landed on this one and ordered. Received fairly fast and set about the install. This Asus is a bit more difficult to get the battery changed than laptops I have had previously owned. Could be the newer lighter laptops bury the battery in the case like ASUS, but I'm not sure. Wasn't that difficult, these days there is a YouTube for everything so I found one and got it changed out pretty quickly. Once installed and charged according to the seller's instructions (to the tee) the battery is back to giving me 4 hour battery life. Very satisfied and hoping this replacement battery lasts as long as the original.

Works great and Easy to install.

Bought the battery two years ago. It started discharging the voltage at about the one-year mark and could not hold the charge very well. The laptop was not being used too much. It was a spare laptop used once a week. About six months ago i noticed the machine would freeze and not work or the screen became fuzzy. I thought there is a part loose inside, so I tried to open the unit to see. I had a hard time opening the unit as the bottom seemed to have bulged out a bit. I noticed that the battery had enlarged about 20%, preventing the bottom to be taken out. Running some HP battery checks showed its defective. This is not a good quality battery. I am forced to get a new battery of different brand.

Update: I occasionally swap out this battery with my original laptop battery. I've done it 5 times Max. The lock mechanism and strap both broke on this replacement battery. It's not a big deal but it makes it slightly harder to remove the battery nowI bought a Refurbished HP 850 G2. It came with it's original battery. I would get at most about 2 hours of use.With this replacement battery I'm getting over 4 hours of use. I've only went through a couple of charge cycles, so I might be premature on this review but I will update if it degrades. I liked that they provided good instructions on how to get the most life out of the battery and it comes with a good warranty.I searched online for an equivalent replacement and the price was at least double for a 50Wh battery.

Easy install, fit fine in my EliteBook 850 G1. Been using it for a few days and I get 3.5-5 hours of battery life depending on my usage. Can’t speak about longevity though, only had it for a few days. Will update this review if it spontaneously combusts or something, but so far it’s been good.Update: it is now March 10th 2022 and I first wrote this review on May 29th 2021. The battery still works fine, no issues with charging or anything. Battery life I'd say is about 3 to 4 hours now which is still decent for the price I paid for it.

I like that this battery was the most affordable of all the off brand batteries I saw. I like that it actually works. One thing I notice is that my computer charge never gets to 100%. It will say 3 minutes to full charge, but will never get there. that doesn't matter because when fully charged my battery last for 5-8 hours (unplugged). My original battery didn't last this long. I love it and it has brought my old laptop back to life. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for this specific battery for your HP laptop. I have the Elitebook 840.

Easy to install. Too early to really comment about battery life but starting out good.
