π Elevate Your Connectivity Game!
The HDMI KVM USB Extender allows you to transmit high-definition video and control signals over long distances using standard Ethernet cables. With support for 1080p resolution and a range of applications, itβs the ideal solution for both professional and home environments.

Works great!
This extender is greatβfor the price. I assume it does PoE, because the receiver doesn't have a power cable. The transmitter uses standard USB power (I plugged it into a spare port on my PC).Other extenders I've tried maintain an idle screen all the time, even if your computer goes to sleep or turns off your video signal. This one allows your monitor to sleep as if it was directly connected to your computer. USB connectivity works well, although it's limited to USB 1.1.I'd say the only drawback is that it doesn't have an audio extender function, but you can get an HDMI audio extractor for under $20, which still puts you at less cost than mostβif not allβextenders that include audio. It'd be great if it did HDMI over IP, but honestly, the "over IP" extenders don't work very well over IP anyway. They worked fine over a CAT6 home run like this one does, except they cost $50+ more.

Works great using dedicated CAT6 cable
I was able to connect the TX module to the secondary video port on the server video adapter card. I had to try both both ports to get the system to recognize the module. Then the server recognizes this as an HDMI display. I set it up as a duplicate display with the existing hdmi monitor. I did not use the local HDMI out port on the TX module. On the RX module, i connected this to my KVM and the dedicated CAT6 cable.the system is very responsive, with no lag. I am very pleased with this product, and its a good value for the money.

Does not work as advertised!!!
Stay away from this product and spend the extra money for OREI instead. I bought this to control my computer from another room. I hooked up a 2013 Mac Pro with an Apple Keyboard, Logitech trackball mouse, and Avid Command 8 control surface. The Command 8 is self powered, yet could not be seen by my Mac through the KVM Extender. I have another extender that works with the Command 8 without any issues. I also got graphics artifacting, pixel flurries, when hooked up through this device. My Mac GPU does not do that when hooked up directly to my monitor. Furthermore, the display is locked at 720P when hooked up to the KVM extender, and you have to set it manually. If you use "Detect Display" in Mac OS display settings or manually select 1080P, you do not get a signal.

Junk
You get what you pay for. Itβs a fraction of the price of most other products of this type because it only works less than a fraction of the time. Out of 100 attempts to connect, it worked less than 10 times. Again, you get what you pay for.

USB can't connect to any audio device/dac I have tried...
I have tried multiple network cables, as well as several external dacs and usb-connected headsets, and the computer NEVER recognizes any of them. It does work with Keyboard, Mouse at least.... but I now have to use a long usb cable extension from the pc, to get it as close to my seating as possible, then use a wireless usb transmitter from there to my wireless headset... not very nice to have this tossed across the floor every time I want audio...
