The new TITAN-SCR2 Digital Tankless Water Heater incorporates new space age technology and features a faster and more accurate temperature sampling system, a manual resetable thermostat and a new air/water deferential analyzing system to prevent dry starts, (which is a key problem for other tankless systems.) By heating water only as it is needed the TITAN-SCR2 Digital Electronic Tankless Water Heater eliminates the need for bulky water heaters that heat water continuously. This can reduce hot water costs up to 60% over conventional electric water heaters. The TITAN-SCR2's high efficiency is in part due to its dedicated digital microprocessor that samples input and output temperatures 21 times per second. This power control system analyzes the data and manages power usage for maximum efficiency and temperature stability. At rest, the TITAN-SCR2 uses no power at all.

Issues at first
The first unit did not work well, and was intermittent. I had some difficulty reaching the seller due to the fact that by the time I had it installed, it was over 30 days beyond Amazons A-to-Z protection.Once I did reach the seller, however, they responded promptly and professionally. I ordered a second unit And it has been absolutely flawless. The hot water just goes on and on and the temperature does not fluctuate.I highly recommend this unit, but beware that it is possible to receive one that doesn’t function as it should and you may need to replace it with another. Note that it is an ETL tested product Which means it is tested and proven to be what the designers say that it is. ETL Is an independent testing company that is very strict.

Works like a charm
This pairs well with the AO Smith sediment filter with built-in valve. Heats water on-demand, drastically reducing water heating costs. Makes a slight high pitched clicking sound when water is flowing through it, not sure if this is normal.

Well worth the money…performing much better than even imagined!
We wondered when we bought this unit if we had not perhaps purchased too small a unit. But to our pleasant surprise, the electric tankless water heater works beautifully. Hot water is almost instant.It is used in our newly-built dog kennels. Couldn’t be more pleased.

Arrived damaged
Ordered this unit for a customer that picked it out. Box in good shape. But unit obviously damaged. I am a licensed plumber, but I can't open it to repair without voiding warranty. Looking at past review. Wondering if I received the same broken unit that person did?Waiting for replacement, will update after.

Better than expected
Original heater lasted 18 years, this is the upgrade to it and hope it lasts just as long. Works better than the original. Very Happy with water heater

Not as hot as it claims
It's okay, but no where near the 135° it states. At most this unit produces around 115° of hot water.

This is the same brand I originally had just better
I like the instant hot water I get throughout my townhouse and there is not water tank to explode or leak out water.

Half good
I purchased two, installed two, one decided to no longer work … not even 6 months… a normal hot water heater cost twice as much but lasts 10-15 years…Decisions to be made soon..
