Bought this product to finish off my newly installed plastic kitchen ceiling.Came in a large roll and once untaped I had to weigh it down on the decking in the garden.Had to use extremely strong adhesive and props to stick it to the ceiling for several hours.I am aware it wasn't advertised for this application BUT if I used it for architrave purposes I would have struggled to fix it properly to door frames or windows.The product itself is brilliant

Used to cover the sealant between wallpaper and shutters. Luckily the colour is a perfect match for the shutters. The design of the trim covers perfectly. And despite several reviews mentioning difficulty of sticking down the trim or straightening it out, I found no difficulty even though the trim was 6 feet long to be used vertically. Choose a strong glue, obviously. And with several complaints about it being rolled up for delivery – a 15 foot parcel might be a little difficult to post.

Used this to save old wooden window frame from further disintegration, worked a treat with the help of no more nails. One frame was painted it looked great. Hopefully will get another 50 years out of the frame!!

I had hoped with would be delivered flat. No, it gets rolled up, making it nigh-on impossible to get to stick to anything without loads of clamps, blocks and the middle lifting up or the ends lifting up. Rolling it the other way merely produces a wavy length that still refuses to stay stuck.

As others have alluded to this product arrives coiled up and action needs to be taken to straighten it out so it can be fixed properly. On arrival I rolled out the lengths and left them outside in the sun. This helped but not enough. I cut out the lengths i needed and tried a hair drier but to no avail. I achieved success when i used a heat gun.All is now OK and the strips have been fastened with silicone.

Terrible. I bought 5 rolls a few weeks ago and they were great, need an extra roll. It felt different when it arrived, very brittle, it shattered on every cut and the film on the front just pulled away. I managed to get a 30” strip out of the whole roll, it then would not stick, used exactly the same grap adhesive as previously. I did notice the strip on the back is yellow and grey on the original ones purchased. Frustrating as wasted time and money.
